Zita’s food is amazing and affordable. I especially like her Prawn Zita’s style dish. Had a lot of kick 🌶️ the way I like it. She’s so friendly and gave us complimentary fruit for dessert. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Great experience! We took a cooking lesson with Zita. We went to the local market together to buy the ingredients and she taught us how to prepare two local dishes we could choose: Matapa and fish carril. Zita is really nice and her food is delicious. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had an amazing experience eating local food in a super local restaurant. Everything was incredible and really good. Amina was super nice to us and made our dinner really enjoyable. Zita has a perfect team for sure. We recommend to anyone to enjoy such a local experience.

If you want a local Mozambican food experience, go to Zita’s. I had a crab curry which was fantastic – fresh sweet meaty crab with a creamy sauce – which is the same sauce as the frango e zambeziana. Enjoy a 2M while you wait :)

We have no pictures because the food was too good and we gulped it down. Delicious local dishes, prepared fresh and with great seasoning. Having lived in Mozambique for four years, and traveled around the country, I can say Zita made the best nhagana with shrimp and the peanut caril was great as well! We did a cooking class with Zita and it was definitely one of our favourite things we did while in Vilanculos! She was so welcoming and warm. She first took us to the market to buy the ingredients and then we started off with the entire cooking process for local food! On top of it all the food was absolutely delicious and I really can’t stop talking about it!

This is a great simple local restaurant run by the super friendly Zita! We went twice and the food was great both times, delicious local seafood and traditional dishes cooked with love. Don’t expect fancy surroundings but do expect a warm welcome and great food at great prices! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
