The cheapest yet best food in Cape maclear! All the food is so fresh, the fish melts in your mouth, and there are plenty of delicious veggie sides coming with the food. On top of serving food full of flavours and healthy, All the produce are sustainable and locally sourced, either from the community garden, or from local farms. The nsima can be chosen wholegrain which is not that common but tastes great!! This place has been created as a community project and aims to empower locals to cook and learn new skills, half of the benefits goes directly to them. The duck on the menu will soon be sourced from a local who experienced financial difficulties and got help from zathu to set his small scale duck farm, providing him a source of income. Come here for the great food, for the nice vibe, for the sustainability and for the empowering of the locals! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is hands down the best restaurant in Cape Maclear for flavor, portion sizes and value for money. Stayed here for 5 days and tried pretty much the whole menu. Would highly highly recommend. All of the dishes are twice as good and twice as cheap as all of the lodges when it comes to traditional Malawi food

Great food for a cheaper price than the lodges. The stews and fish taste great and the staff are friendly! You can order ahead to avoid the wait or just play some bao while your order is being prepared. They also accept credit cards! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best local restaurant. Dirt cheap and giving back to the community. A local experience not to be missed. EUWIN was our waiter. Young boy with great manners. Service not very fast, but ths is a good food restaurant not a fast food one. Everything is being prepared fresh and from the community gardens. This place is really nice ! We had good food, and for me it is the best place in Cape Maclear for fish. The BBQ was perfect, we could have different fishes, and of course the vegetables were really good. I recommend this restaurant ! Thomas from France 🇫🇷
