Unfortunately the food is good / okay. But we had like a rubber band found in our pad thai (see picture). There was no reaction from the service to say sorry, to try to give a new one or to pay less. Loved it here! Great delicious authentic food with super good prices. Owners are a lovely couple, super friendly. We come here every day during our stay on Koh Phagnan. But do keep in mind that this is a small family restaurant with a mini kitchen, it takes a while for the cooking when a lot of guests are here to eat. ;) Would definitely come back! Note: Google seems to have accepted the location change in maps. So, maps should be correct now. The food at Ying is great. For the purist, simply rice with garlic. Bang! And no one needs more... But the rest is also great. All highlights in terms of taste. You should also just go and meet Ying and her husband, two very pleasant, friendly people. And as always: bring your time. Everything strictly sequential. Often full. Rightly so. Update: One year later. It's still unbelievable. Really, if you were to give stars for the food on the island, it would be 5/5. And still so friendly and familiar. Dear friends of good food. I cannot express my joy enough. Take your time. Try everything. I am absolutely convinced that you will not find anything comparable on the island. Suggestion for a Wednesday evening: first indulge in Ying and the endless enjoyment. Then to Paola in the Seaboard.
