À propos
Wrecked at the Reef in Puerto Peñasco is a beachfront restaurant that serves up American cuisine with a Mexican twist. The establishment boasts a lively atmosphere, complete with live music, outdoor seating, and a bar. The interior design is clean and neat, with several TVs showing football games. The prices are fair, and the service is above average. Some of the standout dishes include the shrimp and fish basket, which features flaky fish and not overly battered shrimp. The French fries are also a must-try, as they are some of the best around. For cocktails, the mango margarita is a popular choice, while those looking for something non-alcoholic can opt for the virgin piña colada. Wrecked at the Reef is definitely a tourist destination, but it still manages to maintain an authentic Mexican vibe. The restaurant is located right on the beach, offering stunning views of the ocean. There is also a large outdoor area with tables covered by fronds and a bandstand. Overall, Wrecked at the Reef is a great spot for those looking to enjoy good food, drinks, and live music in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

I love this place. 1st time here. Arrived around 1 pm. We ordered 2 beers, 1 margarita, 2 soft drinks (for the kids) 2 appetizers plus 4 meals; we paid $98.00. Seems like a lot $$ but they are VERY VERY generous with the portions AND food tastes good. Mozarella sticks are very big. Service was very friendly and fast. Definitely coming again on our next trip to Rocky Point. My kids loved the atmosphere. Lots of families. We sat outside. Been waiting for three years to get back here. The best Mexican shrimp cocktail we have ever found, and it did not disappoint this trip. We ate on beach, band was good and a sun was out. Too bad we only got one cervesa. We ordered a second but it never came. We finally had to go find our server so we could go. I think service would have been better if they were not so busy. I bought a shirt on the way out. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $300–400 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Mexican Shrimp Cocktail
I think this was a cool place, though pretty touristy. You can sit with your toes in the sand and a mildly decent margarita. The area is dog friendly, so lots of people bring their fur babies to eat and relax. It’s a touristy place so it is clean with a nice bathroom and a pretty cool interior, but you pay higher prices because it is right beside a big RV park with lots of gringos. There’s a cool pier you can walk down to fish on. It is very family friendly as well. The food was not very good. I got the chilaquiles and my dad got the “hangover special” but everything was mediocre and lacking in flavor. The Bloody Mary was okay.
Juan Luis is a great server. The restaurant is right on the beach. The walls are covered in song lyrics and it is fun trying to figure out what songs they go to. Unfortunately the food is pretty overpriced and not very good. My po boy was dry and bland. My husband's tacos were dry. My kids' chicken tenders were dry and strangely shaped so my kids wouldn't touch them. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $300–400 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I visited this place based on the recommendations I received from my friends. My rating is purely for the ambience and the location, One of the best place to hangout with friends for some cocktails and enjoy live music with some gorgeous views of the sandy beach. I went with my family, the food had no taste to it (no salt or pepper) except the onion rings, had to wait an hour for the food to arrive. If visiting with kids, make sure you have the reservation made in advance since this place gets crowded very fast. Overall, I would recommend this place only for the ambience but not for their food 😔 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
This place is very popular with Americans. The beach and beach access and views are amazing here. The service has never been good or fast any time we have come. The bar area was pretty packed, but this area was not, as you can see. It was 330pm. My son sat at a table for 20 min while I changed out of my bathing suit in the bathroom, which took a while since the stall was smallish to be changing in, but roomy for just regular bathroom stuff. I told him to order me a coke. Nobody ever even approached him to get our order, I found when I came out. We had good service ONE time when it was 10pmish on a weekend and not as many ppl were outside, and they took care of us right away. I think they wanted to close up and go home that day. Outside, there are tables and games you can play and often live music, and even a merch area. Meal type Other Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

The atmosphere is great and drinks are delicious. They have had a band both times we were there. It is right on the beach. The salsa and Guacamole is fantastic. I had the chicken Avocado sandwich, my husband had the chimichanga, and others in my group had the tacos and we all really enjoyed our meals. Such a fun place to spend the afternoon! Expect bar food and basic frozen drinks/beer. The nachos and machete are both great. The lemon garlic fish was good but a little bland. The service is super friendly and there's almost always a band playing even during the day. Can't beat the view and beach atmosphere. I imagine it gets a bit wild as the evening goes on but the afternoon is casual and fun with plenty of space to bring the whole group. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Good food and GREAT service! They are not only pet-friendly but offered my dog a dish of water. Good food, too It’s a bar with food, so it is family-friendly. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
