This spot is such a gem. Been going here for over 5 years, the food is always incredible, and the service is wonderful. They are so friendly and helpful and just the FOOD! Oh man. The sweet and spicy fried chicken is to die for, decadent and perfectly crispy every time. The banchan is delightful, the tea is wonderful, the egg drop soup is wildly amazing. Highly recommend! This place is a hidden gem of the main road. Drive slow when getting close, or you will miss the turn into the restaurant. The parking lot is small. It is a very authentic Korean food but a little pricey. However, they gave a big portion to offset the price. All the dishes are very good. Highly recommended. My husband and I moved to LA from central MA. Even though the Korean food in LA is the best outside Korea and even better than NYC, I still miss and crave the Kimbap and banchan at Woo Jung in Ayer. I think it’s a pretty huge deal that they serve some Korean Chinese dishes like jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk, because really even in Boston you won’t find them. They are beloved dishes. Obviously Korean food is trendy right now, and everyone is a critic. But the bulgogi, pajeon and mandu have always been great. The family who runs this business makes the food in their own way. I’ve been eating here since the 90s when they still had floor seating, and I can even remember when Ayer had other Korean restaurants and businesses were still in the area. This restaurant has stood the test of time with good reason, and I hope that it continues to do so, because I’ve been to other Korean restaurants in the area, and they really aren’t it. This area is very much a food dessert outside of pizza and subs and is very lucky that Woo Jung is in business. I’m looking forward to visiting next time I am visiting home! It is as authentic as it gets. And I have been to Korea multiple times. The kimchi bursts with flavor. I am going back for more! Huge portions and the service is great. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Driving back from a hike. I have heard good things about this place. It did not disappoint. The side dishes were excellent and the Korean food overall was incredibly tasty, best Korean food I have had in the Boston area.

This little restaurant in a tiny Massachusetts town is not one to miss. Incredible, authentic dishes with an abundance of tasty sides to boot. Worth the hour-long drive. We’ll be coming back regularly! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tangsuyuk Sweet and Sour Pork
Unfortunately the worse Korean Food I have ever had since moved to MA. Ordered Kimchi Jigae, it came in standard bowl instead hot stone bowl. Mostly Kimchi and only 4 pieces of pork. Broth blant and thin almost no flavour. Sad kimchi jigae ever. Forget it to come close to what in Korea would taste. Will jot come back and not recommended at all Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Best Korean food in the area. A bit pricier than your typical Korean spot, but definitely worth it — the dishes are simply done right, with simple but rich flavors and textures. Very generous portions, and food comes with a full set of very good banchan. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A true Korean restaurant--bountiful sides free of charge, great dishes, hot tea. Expensive in 2023, but you won't leave hungry.
