Gotta love the family/dog friendly vibe here. Between the wide variety of unique wine/beer/liquors that you won't find in other businesses in the dalles, and the comfortable atmosphere, we visit Wines On Second regularly. Check out the live music too! Great community vibes and atmosphere. Get it, Matt!

Great place to stop and pee on your way through the gorge. The restroom is super cute and is stocked with everything you need. They also have wine and beer and the owner is nice. 10/10

Matt is the best! Very knowable on the wines and other fun things! From DnD to amazing food/cuisines. He rocks! It's one of my absolute favorite places in The Dalles.

This is our Friday hangout bar. Great selection of wine and a good selection of Pacific Northwest beer (some kegs on tap). Very relaxed atmosphere with great staff.

I went in for wine and some snacks with my daughter, and the owner proceeds to try to offer me 2 fatted calves and a goat to “take her under his care.” 99% sure the guy is a groomer. His Kid Rock Fan Club shirt should have been a dead give away.

Friendly and welcoming place with amazing wines and a solid craft beer selection you won't find anywhere else in The Dalles. Grab something to go or try something on tap or by the glass and bring in your own food. The shop also has amazing snacks and is perfect for holiday gift giving.

A fantastic stop for helpful advice, excellent wines and engaging conversation. We enjoyed a glass and purchased a bottle because it tasted so so good. Highly recommended for a comfortable venue to enjoy a glass (or two) from a diverse and interesting selection.

I am so excited that the Dalles gets to experience Wines On Second. I’ve been going to first location of this bar/shop in Portland for years, and am happy to see the expansion. Great wine, great people, a diverse selection of market products. I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in the Dalles.

Had visited their store in Portland and liked it a lot. The worker (owner?) is really friendly and helped a wine idiot like me find some good stuff. Also, they carried Icelandic chocolate... what more could you want?
