Maybe because the sunny ☀️ weather, or because the Chinese barista, we feel really warm and friendly at the time. The salmon quiche is delicious! Highly recommended! The cheesy texture and smoke salmon on top is a great combination! The flat white is one of my favorites in New Zealand! If in a sunny day you can just sitting outside to enjoy the sun. Good breakfast and lunch spot in town. Service is fast and food is inviting. Staff is pretty busy as the place fills up rapidly. Seems to be a popular cafe in the new and popular area in Kaikuora. Heard that the seafood chowder and the brownies are good here. Well, the seafood chowder was thick, with lots of fresh seafood and its delicious. The brownies were soft and tasty rich with chocolate favour. The fish and chips were fresh and nicely deep fried. The next day after the fishing trip we headed down there to have breakfast. Busy place but service good,prices reasonable and delivery of breakfast fast given the amount of people. All meals looked good. Bacon cooked to perfection. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30

Great to find this wee gem for an early breakfast! Wonderful friendly, prompt service, delicious eggs bene with salmon and lovely hot coffee.
