Good salads are among the dishes to be ordered at this restaurant. Here you can drink great coffee. There is a magnificent view from Herolds Bistro and Bar. The positive aspect of this place is that the staff is appealing. If you want to enjoy prompt service, you should visit this spot. In accordance with the guests' opinions, prices are democratic. The calm atmosphere will be really just what you need after a hard working week. But many people who use Google didn't give this restaurant a high rating.

Love the burgers and food Great value for money . Tasty and delicious Friday night live music treat I only find an issue with trying to relay how service or food could be improved General attitude of take what you get and be happy but compared to many other establishments this place is more than ok Dined here regularly and tried various dishes Chicken curry decent but 2 thighs doesn't quite amount to any meat . Line fish was cooked amazing one night and beautiful sear The next night line fish was the worst and no sear and soggy Non alcoholic beks beer one night and next night none Cocktail tasted like a mocktail possibly mixed up with no taste of alcohol Inconsistency but overall great experience Thanks and will see you guys again Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely cocktails, average food. Friendly staff but could not keep up with busy restaurant. Waited close to 2hours for 2 pizzas and basket (part of bar snacks). The waiting just dampened the whole evening.

Nice vibe and very nicely decorated. We were the first people there so it was nice and quiet but coffee was a bit weak and the milkshake artificial. The breakfast was nice but nothing special. The prices were reasonable though and the views spectacular. I will perhaps try it for dinner to compare but overall not bad.

A nice place to unwind with live music on occasion & draught taps (Castle & Stella) - great prices!! The cappuccino was an entire star loss, I’m afraid. Haven’t eaten yet - will update on that later.

All over awesome... Food was amazing... Atmosphere is tops, not to mention the view. The smokers area also gets well catered to. I never felt neglected because I'm a smoker. Friendly staff. Ordered 3 meals for lunch, two were curry hence should be "out the pot" & quick to prepare. One hour later the waitress said the kitchen had not even begun with our order. Place has so much potential but needs proper management. Stunning location but I am giving Herolds Bistro and Bar a 1 rating as i wouldn't go back unless someone changes up things. 2 items on the menu were not available, 1 been a pizza, and the ribs we told were frozen. We wanted a quiet special dinner and got the kitchen staff bad outhing at the top of there voices and it sounded like pots and pans were been purposfully been mishandled. There was no feeling for the paying customers just the staff running amuck! When we did get our food i was so disappointed i wanted to walk out. Penne pasta that was so shredded that you wouldn't be able to know its penne if you didn't order it. I don't like to send out bad reviews but i do feel that if some attention and love is put into the managing of this beautiful venue it could be a real gem. I must add this place offers a well stocked bar and good wine selection, the barman that night on duty seemed to show a sense of pride behind his bar. So i do hope this serves as constructive criticism and action is taken as i feel Herolds Bistro has huge potential and offers a needed service to not only the residents but to Herolds Bay and George communities.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is great for those who want to unwind. It's also situated in the perfect spot with an amazing view. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Their food was well priced, didn't take long to be served and it was better than your average bistro's food. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Always a pleasant destination. The food menu is limited but of good quality. The waiters friendly and eager to serve. The environment and setup support easy and relaxed conversation with friends - Coffee snack and chat.
