Decent taste for those looking for authentic N9 dishes. Not up to par if youre looking for maximum hotness for salai. This place is for those for weak stomach 🤣. Affordable price with bottomless drinks. Not air condition restaurant to counter the heat, so dont expect 5 star ambience. Plus+ points the host is very friendly and be prepared to exchange banter during payment 🤣. first time i datang i ordered itik&keli salai . It was so good 10/10 !!!! portion dia for me its fine and u boleh refill air . Second time i dtg i ordered asam pedas , um i can give 3/10 sebab dia tk sesedap mcm yg i expect and cair 😂 price act okay and not overprice sgt pun .. sup ayam also i only can give 3/10 . next time will repeat ur masak lemak only Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ate here because it has over 2000+ positive reviews and we were not disappointed. The kuah salai is very different than what we’re used to, the umami and spicy levels were above of what we were expecting and it resulted in happy stomachs and runny noses! So warning for those who cannot handle their spice, try to ask for a less spicy option if possible. Will come here again whenever we have the chance! Was in PD and wanted to try authentic local food. Pretty tasty all round. Clean and comfortable surrounding. The smoked meat has a distinctive flavour and it goes well with everything else that is served. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40

To be honest this place is just overated , the kuah masak lemak just an average masak lemak with extra spiciness,the food here is tasty but it just doesn't suit my tastebud i guess. i ordered Daging salai, itik salai , ayam salai and sup kaki ayam . Been here to try their “daging salai” which is tasty and their portion just fine. Limited tables and still suits for family gathering. Refillable drinks at RM3. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Had our family lunch here, was just fine. We had quite variety of meals here to name a few Asam Pedas Ikan Pari, Lemak daging salai, ulam etc. The portion was relatively small anyway, anybody who used to go somewhere else may be able to tell. I ordered smoked duck and beef and the food is kinda salty and very chewy, not like I was expecting, especially for that price range and the rice is given is not a lot but it's okay I guess, it definitely would be better if they ask how many amount of rice do you want before serving, the good thing is the water is refillable which kinda good but it could get improved if theres more drinks option, Overall the food is abit lacking but other things is good.. also why there's so many sign?? Have to queue during lunch hour because the tables are limited and the customer are many. Only tried Daging Salai RM12 and free flow cordial drink RM2.50 Taste wise, I give 4 star. The atmosphere and cleanliness is 5 star because you can't find place as clean as this in PD. Parking is just in front of the restaurant.
