Got a breakfast platter and a large sweet tea when I asked for a larger straw I was told no it was for milkshakes only. The manager and his workers need a course in customer service. We had a great experience at Ward’s (717 Bartur in Hattiesburg, MS) today. Even though my order was not correct, they accepted responsibility and took care of it cheerfully. All of the employees, from the cashier to the service line workers were very nice & positive to deal with. Even the employees I didn’t have the opportunity to interact with seemed pleasing and happy to be at work. It was refreshing to have this experience at a time when it’s difficult to find good help in this industry.

Found this place on our way home from the beach. The staff was very friendly and polite, and the food was delicious, we were glad they didn't put beans in their chilli. They will even give you chilled mugs for their root beer. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

The food was good. Unfortunately they seem to be having staffing issues so there was only one person running the entire front end so it took a little bit to receive my food. But she was in good spirits and capable of doing the job. Overall positive experience.

I went there on 3/16/2022!! When you order your food the cashier wasn't pleasant at all. The food wasn't good the grits were under cooked. They were hard, the meat was cold & hard. The eggs weren't cooked the way I order them. My experience at that Wards was a bad one.

They were pretty busy with a line out to the road around 10 am. So I was expecting some piping hot food. I ordered a big one combo no onion with a Fanta orange to drink. Sadly, the burger was cold while the fries were fresh. I need for both to be hot!
