This is my favorite breakfast restaurant but unfortunately they need a good cook. The young man tried his best but he overcooked my hash browns, Waffle and bacon and my eggs were undercooked. My BLT with cheese was good however the service wasn't so great. I waited at least five minutes to be waited on while the employees were talking amongst themselves. Excellent food with a relaxing hometown atmosphere. Try the blueberry pecan waffle and hashbrown covered and smuttered. You'll love it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ling runs the line like a well-oiled machine. Instead of getting frustrated with how busy it is, she still a ray of sunshine. D’Anthony killed those waffles and we were in and out in 30 minutes at peak hours on a Sunday. I wish I lived closer so I could eat with this wonderful staff every day! This place is horrible!!I have been driving on the road for hours and I stopped in to order some food here and I was going to sit down and order but we had to wait on two tables to be cleaned they have like eight people working.What made me upset is when I sat down to wait on the table one of the workers behind the counter was banging plates so loud over and over like he was doing it on purpose it was very rude.If someone has a disability that could have seizures with that loud noise because it hurt my head so bad I had to get my husband to order our food and I walked out.Then they messed up our order.I didn’t want to complain about it but it’s something I can’t eat that they put in my food.I didn’t want to tell them because I felt like they would mess with my food if I complained about it.I wouldn’t go here.The owners need to check in on there business to see how it’s being ran that’s all I got to say.We are also business owners and I will make sure to tell our travelers to not eat here when they drive threw.They drive threw allot.You never know who people know that’s all I got to say. You could tell that the crew at this location worked well together. They were fully staffed, the service was excellent, and the cook was amazing. My husband and I have been to three different Waffle House restaurants in Tuscaloosa in the last month and this one was by FAR the best! Decided to get waffle house this morning after going to Crunch next door. They charged us $6 extra dollars for no reason on our meal for food (not counting the extra fees in the total), we placed a to go order and they added in an extra waffle to the order that we didn’t even want (and charged me for it). The dine-in was closed at 7am which is weird because they are fully staffed. Not to mention THE 20% FEE ADDED TO ALL TO-GO ORDERS. And then they still ask for a tip! Also the window advertised $2 off the All Star Breakfast and they charged me full price. Bad service. I usually don’t leave reviews but this sucked!
