Im a loyal customer of vida because of their distinct & delicious taste. My experience at this store of Cobble Walk was absolutely horrible & I will definitely not be going back ever again. I asked them to remake my latte but both times the taste was different & absolutely horrible. I'm not sure how they can get it wrong when I have been to different stores & at all stores, the taste was delicious & almost the same. Utterly disappointed! Meal type Other Price per person R 50–100 Service: 1
Unfortunately the service of the Vida-e is not up to standard to any other Vida-e that I've every been to. The ladies behind the counter is usually leaning on the counter either busy on their phone or busy with a conversation between themselves and this does not stop once you stand there waiting for service. You have to actually wave or announce yourself before someone will notice you. During this week I also ordered a ham and cheese croissant and when I got home they gave me a chocolate croissant. Vida is always high energy super friendly. Neither of those two things is found here. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person R 50–100 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
It has been twice now that I order a coffee with oat milk, pay extra for the oat milk alternative, just to realize once I have left the store that they gave me regular cows milk instead. The staff need better training, milk alternatives is not a luxury, it is a dietary requirement. Lactose intolerance and the resulting stomach pain is no joke. Better attention must be given to the specifics of the order!!!! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person R 50–100 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
They need to train the staff better in making smoothies. Had my regular cocoa nut butter smoothie, hoping this time is will be better. It was basically an icy cocoa smoothie. No bananas, dates. Was like a slushy. Not the smooth texture full of ingredients. Sucks that this vida is the closest to my home. Now I have to drive further to get quality. Please sort out the training. It's a stunning, small little branch with lovely decor and a good location - but honestly, service is always a bit poor (staff are usually on their phones or very disinterested/unhelpful). Also, the music is usually so loud you cannot hear yourself think or speak. It's decent for a good stop after your shopping but that's about it. We have found the coffee/hot beverages here are no longer good quality but they still offer some of the best tasting frios/frioshakes we've had at a vida e branch in the Northern Suburbs so I can recommend them for those. Lovely staff but this branch often does not have what is on menu. No smoothies and my mocha this morning did NOT taste like one. I went back. The service is worse than before. I ordered a drink and toast. Paid, left to pop in at another store quickly. When I returned staff were busy with other orders and hadn't started with mine yet. The drink was not good and I was late for work. Even though it's across the road from where I live I'll rather go to the Glengarry branch in future. Excellent service there and they make much better coffee. Service Take out
The new summer menu of vida has nice new drinks but it seems that none of the stores know how to make them. They are made differently at each store, especially the dragonfruit ice drink with Boba. At cobblewalk it tastes like a cheat mix drink with water and pieces of dragonfruit in it Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My wife had a hip replacement recently. I wanted to take her out for coffee, just to get her out of the house. We went to Vida Cafe at Cobble Walk. Not a good experience at all. I asked my wife to order so long, as I quickly needed to go get something at the shop. I returned to find my wife still at the table and no order were placed. The two guys at the counter had their own conversation, ignoring my wife at the table. I asked them why they haven't served her yet, as she couldn't walk around. They had some lame excuse. I ordered coffee and the guys put the music SO LOUD, we could not even talk to one another. Very unpleasant. We could not wait to finish our coffees and get out of there. Never going back to that place and I won't advise anyone else to go there either. To sum things up: Lazy staff and terrible atmosphere. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Regular customer at various Vida e Caffes. Had the worst ever three cheese muffin I have had at any Vida. The top was hard it felt like it was old and just overheated to make it fresh. Only feta cheese in muffin. Nothing else. Will rather drive the 3km further and go to Glen Garry next time Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person R 50–100 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
If you want good service best to go to the cape gate branch rarher. For cobble walk the Baristas behind the counter were just faffing around while you wait to be served. Even though they saw me and even though they already took the last customer's order they didn't bother to acknowledge me. Just simply walked out.
