Very deserving of a 5 star rating. I had the chimichanga and it's so good. Really fantastic dessert. But, I support these kinds of family owned restaurants and good hospitality. The owner, Ravi is so kind and welcoming. Like visiting a good friend even though I met him for the first time. I will definitely recommend this restaurant for sure.

Exquisite dining experience!
The food at this Vegan restaurant is undeniably delicious, true reflection of the owner's unwavering dedication to vegan cuisine, evident in the diverse menu options. Besides the delightful flavors, what truly stands out is Ravi's warm and engaging nature. During my visit, we had a great conversation about his humble beginnings and journey.
As a non-vegan, I was amazed by the delectable taste of the Lasagna, mushroom burrito, and chocolate velvet cake I chose. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant before it becomes a missed opportunity.

Awesome vegan restaurant which was hidden in a alley. There were a variety of panini, hamburger, pizza, curry and dessert options for vegans. We ordered margarita pizza and mushroom Masala with rice. They were all tasty. Their handmade cake was fabulous! We chose coffee walnut and chocolate velvet slice cake. You can also buy a whole 8 inches cake. No time limit. My vegan friend and I had a wonderful afternoon time here. Suggested to order pizza first because need to wait about 20 minutes.

We went on Christmas Eve and celebrated Christmas with family at Vegan Taipei. This is the best vegan restaurant I have ever been to! The owner, Ravi, puts a lot of tender loving care to perfect each dish. Our group ordered the Double Joy pizza, classic lasagna with double cheese, mushroom burrito, chimichanga and apple pie (whole). We cut each dish in fourths so we could have some of everything.
Each dish was tasty and made to order. The apple pie fresh from the oven was heavenly. They have a wide variety of foods on their menu and each dish we ordered was delicious and flavorful.
Ravi makes a few kinds of vegan cheese you can buy. The Taipei Xinyi area A8 Shikong Mitsukoshi Beautiful supermarket also sells four of his dishes you can get as takeout. The store has nice decor and when we went there was no time limit.
If you are in a rush call ahead to order. Will definitely be coming back again! :)

Vegan Grounded Beef Pizza
Really great location, It's located in a small alley right by the big street in Daan, so it avoid all the noise from city but still keep the convenience.
I never like the idea to combine vegan and pizza, but this place is really changed my mind, I never thought I would enjoy vegan pizza this much. Me and my friend shared one pizza and dessert for each is actually good amount of food. But service is also just lovely! My friend was craving a chocolate related cake for dessert but the day we went it wasn't available for slices option, so we ask the waitress if she can do anything, and later the owner of this restaurant just cut a whole cake into slices without second words just for us to enjoy what we wanted. And yes we enjoy the cake sooo much!

The pizza is literally beyond AMAZING🍕🍕🍕
I fall in love with all the dishes I had there❤️ I’ve tried pizza, lasagna, Indian Chana masala&rice and Boston pie. All of the dishes are so tasty that I even doubt that whether they are truly vegan hahaha (of course they are😜😜)
Besides, the owner is humorous, kind and generous! He keeps inventing new recipes and makes sure the customers can enjoy the best quality of food.
It sometimes takes a little while to get your food, but trust me, it’s worth waiting😊 Also, the atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable and I really love reading or studying there.
It’s a restaurant which makes you feel at home and give you the most clean and healthy food with love❤️
Highly & highly & highly recommend!
I had a great dining experience here. Their staff were very friendly and polite. I ordered the vegan pumpkin lasagna, chai tea, and the vegan mint chocolate cake for dessert. The seasoning for the lasagna was right on. The chai tea was some of the better ones I tasted in Taipei. And the mint chocolate cake had the right amount of sweetness. Everything tasted delicious!!!
If you’re reading this review after 12/27/20, they’re moving to a new place. I posted a picture of their new business card with the new address.
I come to Taipei on business trips frequently and I eat here regularly - maybe five meals a week! Ravi, the owner, adds his personal touch and love to everything - most importantly the food. All the dishes here are extremely tasty and made with the finest ingredients. Absolute standouts are the Pumpkin Lasagne (whoever thought of that) and the Chocolate Velvet Cake. I literally have a slice of the cake with every single meal.
Ravi will sit and chat with you if you’re interested and tell you about how he makes his food and the fascinating story of how he ended up opening a vegan restaurant in Taipei. The best part is he is extremely open to all kinds of feedback.
If you are in a hurry, do call and place your order before you reach, and you’ll get your food ready when you come in. I saw many reviews here complaining about the wait time. Truth is, this fact is clearly mentioned on their menu and Ravi insists it’s the best way to get your food on time. Also, it’s because all the dishes are freshly made.
The atmosphere is family friendly and there are books for kids. Price is subjective, but reasonable for the quantity of serving and the delicious food. It’s located at a convenient snd easy-to-find location.
The worst experience ever in Taiwan!! 🤢 I got sick after eating there - I vomited and went to the bathroom several times.
In our ordered pizza was a hair, hygiene was not maintained. The dishes were very expensive. We waited a long time for dishes. People avoid this restaurant - no other customers were there. Highly not recommended!!

Really, really good vegan cakes, all homemade , and I think organic too! I had their lemon cake years ago and it was super good~ The mint chocolate cake is amazing - a super moist, dense and chocolatey cake covered in a deliciously light and refreshing mint flavored whipped frosting. The bacon and hot dog pizza is solid for a vegan pizza option in Taiwan, lots of toppings for 10", takes a while to bake though. The lasagna is good but kind of a small portion for what I was expecting based on the price. But the service is incredibly friendly, and the space is very cozy~ the Indian food sounds yummy, and the mushroom burrito too!
