Customer service, great! But the food wasn't the best tasting. . The turkey from the Christmas menu was fresh and tasteless.The stuffing, however, was good. The fried rice and the chunky veg were the only 2 good tasting dishes.

My experience was a bit disappointing. Before the renovation and upgrade things were much better. The service was great but the lightings were too bright, where before was very cozy. Taste in food was a big give away that it’s a new chef. After eating at Valpark Restaurant for over 25 years I can tell the difference in taste. The ambience was much better before.

RUIN BIRTHDAY DINNER !! .. this was such a horrible night, one of our main dishes we had last night which was the chicken fry rice was spoil, i mean like how can such a great restaurant like this allowed this to happen? there was strong sour smell coming from it. We told the waitress and she took it back and deducted it from our bill. I was not please at all. Standard , quality and taste have been noticeably different as well, but after last night adventure it had sure put me off from this place.
BUT not all doom and gloom, the new chairs are comfortable !

Food was tasty, even better than before. Had the house fry rice, stir fry noodles, pepper beef, Chinese style chicken, oyster shrimp, chunky veg. All the dishes were exceptional.

So I visited in 2016 with my husband and now with my friends for her birthday. The staff was warm and Inviting we were seated by a window table. Our waitress was helpful in helping us select our meal. The meal was delicious but portions were small and over priced. The deco needs to be updated.
I will never, never go back to this restaurant. Went to dinner to celebrate birthday and ordered chunky veggies, pineapple chicken, pepper shrimp and vegetables rice, two pina colada, a shandy lychee and an orange juice. The food was very cold even, though it was prepared right there as i dined-in. The pina colada was like the whole bottle of sugar was poured in, the chunky veggies were loaded with black seaweed and tasted somewhat spoiled. The pepper shrimp lacked any sort of pepper and was swimming in a corn starch base. The pineapple chicken was in thick batter. The food overall was very very bland. The table was approximately 3' x 3' and was too small to place ordered food. Waitress had to actually remove the flowered vase for the 5 dishes and glasses to be placed. The tablecoth was observed to be soiled before we sat down to dine.

Great food at a price with a fantastic atmosphere. The design and look of the restaurant is second to none. The service is average the waiters are kind and capable but can sometimes be negligent.

Food arrived cold. Portions wayyy too small. Order was mixed up or probably disregarded. Prices WAYYYY too high for such low quality and taste. I will never buy again. One star only because that’s the lowest option to be able post. I really want to give you a 0/5 I do not recommend. I usually count my losses in situations like this and not leave a bad review but this one was way too ridiculous.
