Harassed by management for minding my own business. I live overseas now and was visiting my grandparents in town. While shopping I took a quick 5 second clip of the pan duce for my friend because I was happy when I was approached by two men who demanded I delete the video. What harm was I causing? There's people who steal. I wasn't filming any individual. Get a life. Never shopping here again. Video deleted.
It's not often I put this much of a negative review, if it's not worth your time I'll give it a "naw don't go" I've tried many times over to see if was a fluke but no so let me begin. Being a Mexican Arabic born in Hanford California I was azed at how I was looked down upon south of the border, I'm not sure if the se applys here. None the less every time I've ordered food something was wrong,maybe my poor Spanish or I offended the cooks some way or another. I will never shop here again, this morning I purchased a burrito with no beans,half chicharon and half buche. My burrito had 90% rice, and four pieces of chicharon, my orders have never been correct not something I will put myself through again. Your choice to find out yourself.i forgot, I'm paralyzed and while waiting in line to order a jug of pumpkin spice the cashier was tending to people behind me,I started waving my hand at the counter and she walked off and spoke to her co worker,after she took my order I asked for my receipt, she picked it up off the floor, and put it on the counter,went about her job without washing her hands....never again.WOW! I tried to give it a chance....NO! I ordered a burrito no beans,buché&tripas for my meat and I got this.plus the tables were dirty.my wife orded chili rellenos with the sauce on the side...wrong.
I dropped 2 stars bc of company stealing policy, this is tricky bc they stole 5 cents from me. The store is nice and prices ok I took alot of pics. The customer service is good especially at the hot deli. BUT when I checked out with my wings i asked for a recipient they charged me 15 cents for a bag they said they been doing that for at least 2 years. They have 53 stores at least in CA. I'm like hold up even Wal-Mart only charges 10 cents a bag. Think of the thousands of bags they sold over the years at 5 cents we are talking millions of dollars ripping of the Hispanic community that ain't right. So beware of their stealing . i don't like it 1 bit. Here's proof . other pics of good stuff sold there.
I feel like food is something you don’t mess with. I have gone and purchased meats and twice when I want something already prepped I order preseasoned meat. You can tell by the discoloration of the meat that they use old meat by over seasoning it which makes it way to salty, it’s disgusting. Throw away old meat or any old expired food! I’ll update next time I’m in there with photos.
You can find a great selection of Mexican products at a reasonable price. The downside is that the layout is so difficult to navigate. Nothing is where you expect it to be.
I was saddened when the Vallarta store in Colorado Springs closed, but now we are moving to the Central Valley to see so many stores in just a 15-20” drive. Love the variety of produce, meats, and everything else! So happy to be moving in a great city/town/county where I see a thriving community of all diverse people!
Usually I just buy meat to cook at home but today I stopped to have lunch the #6. Well it was all fat there was no meat at all. I needed a knife to try and cut it because pulling it apart was like stretching a rubber band. Next time ill just stick to the asada tacos.
Today i went and i charge the correct sweet bread which i thought it was when the lady comes and says let me see you didnt chrge the correct bread that why they should have more cashiers to charge correct...
Today I happened to be on the northside and ran into Vallarta for some Ranchera and stuff to make a salsa. I happen to grab my daughter a bag of hot Cheetos and when I got to the register my cashier was Destiny. I’m so happy I got in her lane. I was like dang girl when did the price on everything go up I can’t believe the prices on everything especially the hot Cheetos? Destiny went out of her way to not only tell me the bigger party bag was less expensive but she went and got it for me! I got a bigger bag and got money back, thank you girlfriend for excellent customer service ☺️
