If you like Japanese cuisine, complete your collection with this restaurant. To taste nicely cooked sea urchin, chirashi don and tuna sashimi is a really good idea. This is one of the best Japanese restaurants we’ve been to. We ordered steak, Vegas rolls, Philadelphia roll, and bulgogi. It came with a side of miso soup and salad. The food tasted amazing. Food is always amazing and fresh here! I love their happy hour specials. 9/10 their sushi rolls are solid and do not fall apart. This was the only time I had them fall apart, but I believe it was because I had seared tuna and steak so the heat from them caused that to happen! “I recently ordered two fried rice with beef dishes for my wife from Uni Sushi, and our experience was incredibly disappointing. The second order was an absolute disaster - it arrived with barely any beef and vegetables, but completely missing the rice! We decided to call the restaurant to rectify the mistake, as it was clearly their error. To our shock, they not only refused to acknowledge their mistake but also shifted the blame onto us, insisting that we return the food in person for a refund, which would have meant an extra 20 minutes of driving. This is the first time I’ve ever encountered a restaurant that not only botches an order but then has the audacity to blame the customer for their own mistake. The lack of accountability and terrible customer service at Uni Sushi is truly disappointing. I have been going to Uni for 3 years and have always enjoyed the drinks, food, and service. The sushi rolls are my favorite menu items and so is their Mai Tai. Hanna is the best server that I request because she’s always friendly, attentive, and efficient. She remembers what I usually order and never forgets to ask how my mom is doing when she’s not with me. Uni…. More like uno star. Skip this place. Food came out with rotten vegetables in it. Showed the server after, they took it away and still charged for the food with rotten veggies. Save your money and head somewhere else. Good thing they black out the windows so no one knows what they’re in for until they are trapped inside.

The ambiance was wonderful, not too loud and very clean! Service was impeccable and greatly appreciated the server… the food however was not what I expected… quality was very low, almost rubber like in texture and flavor definitely was not there… portions weren’t too bad! One of the better Sushi restaurants in the West Valley. Very friendly service and tasty food. Had a couple of sushi rolls and mixed tempura veggies. Highly recommend.
