The bartender here (Fabio) really knows his wines. I found it a challenge to find a place in Salulita with good wine selection so a local recommended this place and it was an excellent suggestion. The food looks amazing and while I did not have a chance (YET) to enjoy the cuisine by the looks of the satisfied customers raving on the way out it must be high quality.

This “Tropical Lounge” restaurant is not on Trip Advisor as far as I can see and it is only my 2nd eating experience in Sayulita but I can say it is fresh and tasty. I had the shrimp and chips (for kids but but was just the right amount for me) plus an amazing Hibiscus margarita. The charming servers also brought me a super tasty array of pickled vegetables. There was excellent live music when I arrived — by John Mason — in the adjoining garden area. Combined it made for a wonderful introduction to this pueblo mágico.
Ps. Cash only! And dogs allowed
We were in Sayulita on Valentine's Day, and we wanted to celebrate somewhere special. We tripped across Tukari on our walk about in town, and it had just the right vibe, and a good menu. We made a reservation, and we were advised we'd be hosted in the garden area, which was fine for us. Not dining tables, but rather like eating off a coffee table in a beautiful garden. Not a problem for us.
We came back, and there was a great band playing -- two guys with guitars, singing a lot of North American music, and the garden in the night was really lovely.
We ordered -- and the servings are generous to say the least. The cheese plate was excellent, with a good amount and selection of cheeses. A complimentary glass of wine started us off, and we had a couple of other dishes as well as an excellent dessert. So, yeah -- the food is really good. We had the beet salad, and a chicken and potato dish.
All for a very reasonable price. Would I go back? Absolutely.
This is an amazing spot in Sayulita! Cozy, clean and with very nice decoration and atmosphere.
Fast and friendly service, Humberto was very kind with us!
They have a comfortable sofa. I recommend the lamb meatballs and the truffled fries, delicious!! Definitely recommended and we will be back!
AMAZING meal. Easily the best one we had during our stay. Super fresh and clean ingredients and they are changing the menu frequently so don't reference the one on google. The staff is exceptional and so attentive. Do NOT miss out on at least having one meal here!! Also a great switch up from the taco + fried food scene. We loved every bite and felt really good after too!!
What an amazing spot! I took a date here for a drink at the bar but had the most bizarre experience. One of the workers sat at the bar beside me, making vomiting noises over and over again I wasn’t sure if they were just anti-LGBT or what but after a while, realize that maybe this person might be sick we stay there for almost 30 minutes well this person made vomiting noises beside us, and the bartender pretended it didn’t happen, I don’t know what to say. The service was great. The food was great. The drinks were great, but this was such a weird experience. I hope to come back one day without the vomiting noise. I should add that I thought it was just someone with the hiccups, and it kept going over and over and over incessantly. It was very very weird.

Had a great last dinner here after our 2 weeks I. Mexico!
I kept seeing this spot when we passed it on our way back to the hotel- it’s tucked away but you can still see in!
Smaller plates, good to share!
I wish we could have come here earlier in the week to enjoy more, but we all were feeling a bit under the weather unfortunately!
Would def recti end this spot and come back if we are even in Sayulita!

We've been here twice already in our two weeks, and hope to get there more before we leave! Great food, relaxing live music, well-crafted cocktails, and local beers are complemented by outstanding service. A must-do on your Sayulita list.

We ended up having two fantastic meals at Tukari during our recent visit to Sayulita, it was that good! Both times we did the whole snapper, roasted veggies and hummus 😋 and truffle fries. Nice wine menu as well and the service is very attentive. Best part, is that you almost feel like you’re in a tucked away little town in Greece. Highly recommend!
