This was our first time here & it was absolutely incredible! I would give more than 5 stars if possible. The chicken tenders are some of the best I have ever had & my wife’s club sandwich was dynamite. Daniel our server was extremely friendly & helpful. Please ask for him when you come in. I cannot wait to come back & have dinner again. BTW the jalapeño gravy is unreal & I cannot wait to eat it again. Fantastic job! See you again soon Kris & Trish Hamilton

Troubadours, hands down, is the most remarkable steakhouse I've ever had the pleasure of dining at in the entire state of Texas! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I'm delighted to share my glowing review.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food—outstanding! The steaks were absolutely top-notch, perfectly seasoned, and flawlessly cooked to perfection. I asked for mine to be prepared medium-rare, and oh my, did the chef nail it! Each succulent bite was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It's evident that the kitchen takes great pride in their craft and sources only the finest quality cuts.
Moreover, the service staff at Troubadours deserves special accolades. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was met with warm greetings and genuine hospitality. The attentiveness and professionalism of the servers throughout the evening were truly commendable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, ensuring we had the most fantastic dining experience possible.
Speaking of the dining experience, the ambiance at Troubadours was both inviting and elegant. The dimly lit, cozy atmosphere added an intimate touch to our meal, making it a memorable occasion. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a celebratory gathering with friends and family, Troubadours sets the perfect stage for any occasion.
But let's not forget about the culinary artisans behind the scenes—the chef's mastery in the kitchen was evident in every aspect of our meal. They seem to have a magical touch when it comes to cooking steaks to perfection. It's not often that you find a place where the chef truly understands how to get the cook just right, catering precisely to your preferences.
In conclusion, Troubadours is the epitome of a world-class steakhouse. The exceptional food, attentive service staff, and delightful dining experience make it stand head and shoulders above the rest. If you're a steak enthusiast like me or simply appreciate fine dining, this place is an absolute must-visit! Kudos to the entire team at Troubadours for providing such an extraordinary culinary journey—I'll be coming back for more without a doubt!

Our waitress was amazing, I drink a lot while I’m out to eat, she was wonderful about leaving the pitcher so I didn’t have to keep asking. Poutine and frog legs had amazing flavor and temperature was HOT and fresh!

Outstanding customer service by Hanna, Shannon and Marissa. Tried the Cowboy Sushi, was very good, highly recommended. I got the shrimp and grits, my wife got a cheese burger and fries. Food came out quickly, was outstanding. Will come back again.

Had the cow poke burger. Really good, juicy burger with fresh veggies. The fries were seasoned well and crispy. There is plenty of room between tables, so it wasn't cramped. We had the chicken fried deviled eggs as an appetizer. It was a nice change from the typical and really good. The frying process dries out the whites a little, but I would definitely have it again. The food took a little longer than I expected it to, but it wasn't too the point that we were getting aggravated, and the server checked in with us a couple of times.

our server, Haven was very attentive and did a great job. our appetizer, the chicken fried deviled egg was a definite hit with one of our table mates! we had entrees of totonka and asparagus which was loved. she did say the gravy was a little salty for her taste. we also had shrimp with grits. our table mate said hers was also a bit salty. we had two entrees with fried shrimp. the patron loved the unusual breading on the shrimp. presentation and preparation was outstanding. we finished with pecan cobbler with ice cream and that was a rich hit! overall a winning dinner and evening!
We had the Steak Bits and the Quail and Waffles. The quail was substituted for chicken. As an appetizer we had the corn cheese dip. The dip was delicious, perfect ration of corn to cheese. The steak was so tender and well seasoned. My sides were mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. Oh my word, those mashed potatoes were amazing! I would come back just for those. Everything was fantastic

I have to say, the food at this place is top-notch. I've tried several dishes so far, but my absolute favorite is the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy. The flavor is simply outstanding, and it's got just the right amount of kick to it. If you're a fan of chicken fried steak or just looking for some great food in San Angelo, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

We tried here for the fist time and left extremely disappointed. We should have left when we got stale chips with our Street corn dip but we stayed and the food only got worse. My Husband got the brisket tacos and the side of beans both of which were cold. My son went with cheese free sliders and didn't even get to enjoy them. They were burnt and the patty was the size of a chicken nugget. I decided to try the When pigs fly that is advertised to come with duck bacon, that they apparently ran out of, so they decided to give me regular bacon and then make me pay $7 for that I did not want to eat. All I had off the plate was the fresh veggies and asked for another side of that instead of a whole new meal. Oh and that extra side cost me and extra $4 for 4 brussle sprouts. I don't think we will ever be back.
