We drove past this place for a week…. Looked nice, just didn’t “call to us”…. Finally drove into town and grabbed a bite AND SO GLAD WE DID! Roni was our bartender/server and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was very attentive without lurking or being pushy. THE FOOD WAS 10/10!!! We started with Pork Dumplings and they were homemade and nearly perfect. Second was the Asian Duo…. We couldn’t get enough of this dish. Next time, we are each getting on for ourselves. Both parts were equally AMAZING! We shared a Pad Thai with Shrimp & Chicken that was very good and listened to some fun music as the sun set. The only drawback is it is close to the road, but there are plenty of seats that remove that variable. Stop in, have some drinks & grab some wonderful food! Support this new family owned Thai Fusion restaurant so they are here when we come back in December! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This was our second time in Belize but the first time to find this place. We had such a great time that some of us in our group end up going back 2 other times after our first visit. The bartender Rony was a blast. He was great at mixing drinks and sharing many facts about Belize. His co-workers and mangers were very personable as well. Lets not forget the great food and beautiful view! We will for sure be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our group of 4 are confused about how this place has so many 5 stars. We thought most of the dishes were fair, at best. But the Pad Thai tasted like it was made with tomato sauce, so bad my friend asked the server if she got the right dish. The server was very friendly but the kitchen was terribly slow. I would have given 4 stars for atmosphere as the outdoor bar was nice, but the karaoke made us pack up and leave. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Came to Belize and had the most amazing Thai food here. The poppers have smoked chicken stuffed inside with just the most amazing flavor. The spicy shrimp had a generous coating and great flavor. But the standouts were the seafood curry and the pad Thai. The seafood curry sauce was just the right amount of spicy w most likely coconut milk. The pad Thai was possibly the best that I've ever had. Roni manages the bar and can mix up any drink and just has a great personality. And the 80s music just made for the perfect. Fabulous, family-run dining experience! Come for the food, and stay for the atmosphere and a drink at the bar. The Thai selections are better than most Thai restaurants - the seasoning of the Ali Bang Bang shrimp and Pad Thai were perfect. The blackened fish was moist and flavourful, using locally sourced blackening spices. Our drinks were exceptional, as was the service. The vibe at Tropical Island was the best, the staff really made our experience the best time ever, Sotto serenaded me for my birthday, the owner came out with a lovely dessert for me, the food was great, prices were very reasonable and Karaoke is always a good time! My wife says this is the best pad thai she has had outside Thailand. I got a boring quesadilla and even that was amazing. Owner is one of the nicest people we have met on our trip. Can't recommend enough. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Everything we ate was amazing! The wings, burgers, shrimp nachos and seafood curry… best meal we have eaten in the island so far. Highly recommend! Super friendly service.. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
