I'm revisiting this café for the third time and would like to share my experience. On my first visit, I ordered the risotto, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, during my second visit, while opting for the business lunch, the chicken was dry, and the panna cotta dessert lacked flavor.
During my third visit, I opted for the steak. Regrettably, it didn't meet my expectations. While the meat was cooked well, it contained a significant amount of connective tissue, which I avoid, making it quite tough and chewy, akin to rubber. Nevertheless, I appreciated the sauce accompanying the meat, which was excellent, as well as the mashed potatoes.
In my opinion, their pasta, paella, and risotto fare better than their meat dishes. The dining area is spacious, clean, and pleasantly cool, with a small outdoor terrace. While the restroom could benefit from some overdue updates, it's maintained cleanly.
The service is welcoming, yet it lacks anticipatory gestures, such as automatically providing an ice bucket for wine or consistently ensuring table cleanliness while dining. The stunning ocean view is the highlight of this establishment. Additionally, there's a 10% discount offered for payments made with a debit card, which is a pleasant surprise.

Food is great and prices are reasonable. However
- they add a phony fee of 100 pesos just to be seated in the restaurant
- they allow people to smoke in the balcony and since all windows are open the smoke gets in your lungs even if you are inside. Disgusting and primitive.
We were the first customers (noon) at this place we happened by as we walked all the way here from Piriapolis. Lovely place for the refreshing beverages we craved! The waiter was very sweet and let us in early for beverages only. I would definitely come back for dinner....the place looks elegant and I just have a feeling that their food is as superb as their setting. Easy cab or scooter ride from town! Recommended.
Great restaurant with family-friendly staff. The ‘lasagna de la casa’ is highly recommended. The ‘menu turistico’ is very filling, flavorful. A must in Piriapolis!
