First I have to start off and say the customer service here is incredible! We had outdoor seating and it’s November and also I’m wearing a dress so I thought i was going to be freezing cold but they have heated lamps above every table and I was surprisingly not one bit cold through the whole night. We had ordered the cacio e pepe and it was too hard and we let the waitress know and she asked if we wanted to have the chef make us a new one but we kindly declined and said it was fine. Continued on enjoying all the other dishes, which were ALL DELICIOUS btw. When we got the check we had noticed they took the dish off the bill for us! Very very nice of them for that. Everything was very good, especially the Cesar salad! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Slightly overpriced compared to other Italian restaurants in the area. I also didn't particularly enjoy the pasta dish I ordered - the gemelli. It was a bit too sweet for my liking and got a bit bland a little too quickly. The cacio e pepe was decent though. Service was so so even on a weekday as the place was packed. I don't have anything against the place, it simply didn't work for me. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cacio E Pepe

Trattoria Carina offered us a pleasant dining experience with a delightful selection of beverages and tasty dishes. Shoutout to the the waitress and staff who enhanced our dining experience and for their attentive and friendly service. The Prosecco and primitivo red wine were both delicious and complemented our meal perfectly. We ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which offered a heavenly taste with its creamy sauce and flavorful meat. The consideration for gluten-free options adds to the restaurant's appeal, catering to various dietary needs. The chicken parmesan, accompanied by a side of simple tomato pasta, was a surprise in presentation and tasted quite good, though it might not be considered the best. While the outdoor seating might be challenging on colder days like ours at 30°F, the heating provided was satisfactory, allowing for a comfortable dining environment. Due to its popularity, making reservations ahead of time is advisable to secure a table, as Trattoria Carina tends to be consistently full. Very good Italian food in a lively atmosphere. The caprese salad was excellent. Full of flavor from the tomatoes and pesto. The linguine entree was al dente and homemade. We wanted the eggplant parmigiana but they were out of it that evening. Had the chicken Parm instead which was huge and plenty to take home afterwards. The chicken Milanese was also very good. The bluefin tuna was tasty but overcooked. We sat inside which was fine until the place got full and then it was very loud. Overall a pleasant evening and we will definitely come back. FYI we did bring our own wine. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chicken Parmesan

I’ll return here, and often. Delicious food. Friendly unpretentious service, and a cute romantic vibe and decor. Not only is the pasta delicious, the fresh baked bread is special and olive oil was superb. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Had a great dinner with my friend at this fine restaurant! I loved the ambience and the excellent service facilitated by a great Expo, who was receiving plates from the Chefs in the open kitchen, adding the finishing touches of oil and grated cheese, then wiping any errant items off the perimeter of the plate with a towel, making sure each dish was ready to be served, then handing it to a Server or Runner to deliver to the guest's table. The food was excellent as well, in addition to my two Espresso Martinis, I enjoyed the Chopped Salad and Meatballs. I highly recommend this restaurant! So good! Definitely lives up to the hype. The menu is on the smaller side, but the quality makes up for the lack of choices. I’d suggest coming for dinner rather than lunch.

Trattoria Carina is a delicious Italian spot which I'd definitely recommend to friends. It was very busy at 9pm on a Saturday - snag reservations if you're planning to visit. The vibes and atmosphere inside were inviting, and the service quite attentive. The food and drinks we received were all excellent. We didn't try any cocktails, but the options seemed solid. Had a great time! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Most underrated Italian food in Philly. The food is so fresh and delicious. The staff were so attentive. I went with a large group for a celebration and every single person at the table enjoyed their meal. The pea toast was one of the best appetizers I've ever had. Will definitely be returning soon!
