Tonsai is a locally owned restaurant serving traditional Thai foods and drinks. For those who drink alcohol there is also a bar.
The staff are friendly and accommodating.
Tonsai in my opinion has the widest ranging Thai menu on the island. Serving a variety of foods that are well cooked and presented.
The costing is fair and value for money.
They always say wherever you go in the world if the locals eat there it’s good food. There have been a number of occasions I have witnessed this.

Stir Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts
Very good food. I had Tom Yum. It is perfectly "european spicy":)) Thank you so much. It is so far my best and most delicious Tom Yum in Thailand.
Further, we had penang curry beef. It was also highly delicious:)))
Highly reccomened.
P.S.: just be aware that the cafe is right to a busy road, which causes some traffic. But it is worth it, due to very good food;)

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is incredibly delicious, from the Thai Phangan Curry and beef omelette to the papaya rolls, oyster mushroom, and mango sticky rice. Every dish is bursting with flavor.

This has to be the new secret spot on KPG! The owner Raan is super awesome nice guy. And he has cooks that our basically Michelin level from all over SE Asia. Wow!! Don’t tell too many people ha!

This place never disappoints! Outstanding food for fair prices and the people are always super nice. Vegan options. Their pineapple fried rice and papaya salad rolls are amazing. So many people go to Anutta across the road, which is also great, but share the love and give this one a try too! You won't be disappointed :)
