Was here for a week on storm duty during a statewide power outage for a tree company, absolutely phenomenal food and service. From the cooks to the waitresses , I couldn't believe what this place has done for all the line and tree crews keeping them fed. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The food is top notch wow Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Don't let the fact it's a convenient store fool you. There are tables in a little diner section in the back. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits with scrambled eggs. It was delicious! When we visited Machias, the only places open for breakfast were McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, and Tom's. Don't be deceived by appearances. Go in the mini mart and there's a little restaurant at the back. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food to you. Get your beverages in the mini mart, then pay for everything at the mini mart checkout counter. I had sausage gravy & biscuits with an egg and hash brown patty. It was fine, but nothing special.

Cute little restaurant hidden behind a Citgo, next door to the Bluebird Motel. The entrance is through the Citgo, not the side. Food is inexpensive, home cooked feel. Very popular with the locals, so calling ahead will help get your food sooner. We came the first time when it was incredibly busy and we didn't wait too long for food.
