Every time I think of nyama choma, i want to drive off to Nyeri to this place. I don't have the words to describe but it's a must try. They have the best nyama and kuku choma. You want real affordable kienyeji chicken visit this place. Started in 1975 it's still growing strong. The pork is also great.

Went to To go is to see with 3 friends and we had a blast. The kienyeji chicken 🐔 was delicious and surprisingly tender. The ugali was also very well done. (Kuku+potatoes+bananas and ugali set us back only 1,300/=) The music selection was great and they keep the audio volume at a level that allows conversation. I also loved that we could enjoy our food as we kept an eye on our car. Overall, it's an excellent "ka-local" to "reduce the evening" at. To go is to see has been in operation since 1975 and I can assure you that it will still be open a hundred years to come.
