When I come to Tijuana's Tacos, it's for the Al Pastor tacos. They serve all different kinds of tacos, burritos and tortas (my friend loved the Hawaiian torta he ordered), but those Al Pastor tacos with the guac sauce, onions and cilantro — they always hit the spot for me. Don't forget to add a cold Mexican Coke to wash those tacos down. It's a match made in heaven. Mediocre besides the chef being so nice, but not the best at accuracy. First time here. Ordered 4 tacos: asada, Al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo. Had plenty avocado salsa which was a nice touch. The carnitas taco was chicken, so not what I ordered and it had no flavor; either that or carnitas tastes like chicken lol. Pastor was actually sweet like someone else said but it's due to the pineapple flavor; still it seemed a bit stale. Asada was just barely okay; not the best and not Tijuana flavor nor tender. Chorizo was the only good one in the bunch; slightly charred but could've used a bit more to bring out the flavor. The messed up part was realizing they give out free paper cups to have their complimentary beans which the cashier offered other customers after me but not me. Didn't ask, so can't speak on it, but it added to the sourness of the experience. I won't be back unfortunately. I've not been to this place since Pandemic, I was running errands in the area and decided to have some tacos, what a disappointment 😔 the meats were so hard to chew and no flavor at all so I thought their beans (which are free by the way) used to be great so I get some and also😞 beans had gone bad. I told one of the ladies there and she said maybe the sauce they put in them🙄🙄ejmmm the beans were clearly bad. They had no shame and continue to serve them and the poor people that ate them probably don't know any better because nobody complained. I for one ate some of my food just because I needed to take my medication and never ate the beans. That's it, for my last visit to this place that used to be good but has gone South and that's a shame! Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
HAPPY DANCE TIME! eating this delicious food. Generous portions...pot of "help-yourself" beans and salsas add to the taste. I had chicken tacos that reminded me of the incredable street food of So. Central L.A. Unbelievably good! You savour every bite...we all did. Comes with grilled onions and peppers. Place is always packed...it's that good...and people know it. Nice outdoor patio to eat on. On my top 10 Mexican Restaurants!
Very authentic mexican tacos just like Tijuana. I ordered 3 different meats and they were all good. The beans were delicious. Definitely coming back soon.

Fresh tasting but lacking flavor. We got three tacos each with different meats, asada, chicken, and carnitas. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
What a disappointment! Ordered Al pastor tacos (salty), carne asada torta (the taste was way off, I think it was the bread and cheese, the meat had no flavor) and a Taco Indio 🤢. Nothing like tacos from Tijuana! The horchata was ok. Food: 1

HANDS DOWN best authentic tacos you can find east of El Monte. Love this place, such a welcoming staff. Free beans! Also 6 different salsas. Outside of the normal spread of taco meat you can also get tacos with fresh cactus in it. Do not skip this! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10
Bangin!! Their tacos and tortas are ridiculous, and free beans while you wait, whaaaaaa?? Staff was super friendly too and didn't even make fun of my rusty spanish😊 only thing is the parking, as many other reviews have mentioned. Everything else is fire. Will definitely make this a regular spot.

Was here today around 2pm. We ordered the Ingeniero Taco and 2 tortas ahogadas, which we asked for "secas con la salsa Aparte, Osea no ahogadas, nosotros las vamos a ahogar". 15 minutes later we get our Taco, looked bad, and no avocado or cheese visible. My husband took the Taco and asked the cook is it was the correct one, and he said yes, so my husband asked if it was supposed to have avocado and the cook said, "oh se lo debo compa", no apology whatsoever, and the cheese he just said, yes it's there and returned to his cooking. Sorry to say the Taco presented didn't look like the picture or how we had previously received it, since we had eaten here twice before. So, we wait 5 more minutes for our tortas, the cashier brings them AHOGADAS in the sauce, apparently our request on wanting them DRY and sauce on the side wasn't clear enough. When we told them we didn't want them like that she just said OK, but it's going to take 10-15 min more, to which we said that that's how we requested in the first place, she just said OK, and took them back. Again, no apology was offered for their now 2nd mistake. It was now 20 min since we ordered, and we waited 10min more for new tortas, DRY ones. They finally came, and sad to say the wait was not worth it, the meet look gray, and tasteless, the onions for the torta were raw, and to top it off there was a white piece of what looked like thin PLASTIC inside my torta!!! We left right after finding that, only having eaten 1/2 a tortawere myself!!! I wanted to tell them about the plastic and demand a refund, but if they had offered no apology for the 2 previous mistakes what could I have expected about that??? We ordered to throw away the food and DEFINETELY not come back again, as well as let our friends now about this incident.
