Benn there before and came back with my mum and dad to celebrate their anniversary and they loves it. Nice and clean, friendly and nice staff, indoor or outdoor tables available with an apple orchard view outside. Food is also great with good amount of portions. Bar available for those who wants a drink such as beers, wines, etc. Place is good for hangout with family and friends.

Great place..Great food..recommend the sliders Chap behind the bar needs a course on hospitality..first time trying craft beer..wasn't helpful in anyway. No greeting or smile. Didnt appear he wanted to be there..(Can put you off a place) ..Young lady at least had a smile 😃.. We did enjoy our beers.. We will be back... Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Had previously been here and had a wonderful experience however things seemed to have changed drastically. Wait staff were the most unfriendly and unbothered I have ever met in Hawke’s Bay. We ordered some burgers which were OK when they were eventually eaten however two of the three orders came out wrong and had to be sent back. One was ordered without aioli and was served with the statement ‘this is the one without aioli’ however it was covered in aioli. It’s rather off putting to see the chef coming out onto the customer deck to have a vape. If your staff need to vape they should at least do it somewhere more private. We booked online and requested a high chair however when we arrived they apparently do not have high chairs. That’s a choice they’re within their right to make however it would’ve been nice to have been told there are no high chairs when the acknowledgment email was sent through as we would’ve brought our own instead of dealing with a squirmy 1 year old during the meal. Never been here before, came of a team meeting. What a cool place with excellent & accomodating bar/wait staff. Food was incredible, as was the atmosphere. I'm bringing our guests to HB here in the future. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice venue, but don't order the wings unless you love eating tough meat covered in feathers. Waiting staff is rude, just asking for cutlery and condiments were an issue. Got told to go fetch it ourselves. Specifically asked for a take away desert, got brought out on a plate. And then got the eye rolling and big sigh when I sent it back to be put in a take away. And just a suggestion, perhaps put some condiments on the table so that each person can choose what sauces they want on their food. Onion rings come drenched in tomato sauce, mustard and aioli. Poor customer service! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Really bad customer service they seated us and then left us 2 get up go 2 the bar order our drinks and food while they sat behind the bar talking u think they would put abit more effort in 2 there customers as there was only myself and my husband there food was ok small menu won't b going back Price per person $40–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Excellent food, and very fast. Coffee was top notch as well. Pricing was very modest. A little let down by staff friendiness as well as noise acoustics seated inside (esp banging out used coffee grinds). Previously seated outside which I'd recommend on a nice day.

Great spot for a drink in the sun, food was yum with generous portions. Small suggestion; despite dining in the arancini balls were serviced is a disposable container creating unnecessary waste, just put them on a plate please
