I recently visited The Whizz, a charming rooftop restaurant nestled in the heart of Kandy and boasts a breathtaking 360 view of Kandy providing a picturesque backdrop for a leisurely meal.
The food prices at The Whizz were reasonable making it an accessible option for various budgets. Customer Service and the food were Satisfactory.
One notable drawback is the payment system. The restaurant only accepts cash and there is no provision for card payments.
I would recommend this place to chill and unwind if you’re in Kandy.

A good rooftop restaurant. We visited here during our stay at Kandy city stay. The food ok. The service was a bit slow as they had limited staff. They only accept cash payments. The place has good seating options. Parking might be a bit difficult when you visit as I didn't see a designated parking space.

An exceptional experience at Whizz Restaurant and Cafe! We indulged in the Whizz Special Kottu and Chicken Submarine, paired with delightful Mint Lemonade and Blackcurrant Mojito. The food surpassed expectations in taste and hygiene standards, taking it to the next level. Adding to the experience was the superb location with an incredible view. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

Chicken Cheese Kottu
The Whizz is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The atmosphere at The Whizz is relaxed and inviting. The interior is decorated in a modern style. The restaurant has a large outdoor seating area with a view of the city.
We had the chicken cheese koththu and it was delicious. It was cooked perfectly and the taste was amazing. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. We went there at night and the night view of the city is cosy to mind.
The service at The Whizz was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu.
Overall, we had a great experience at The Whizz and would definitely recommend it to others. ❤️✨

We went there seeing all the good Google reviews. This was a very disappointing affair.
Half the items mentioned in the menu were not available, no burgers, no pasta, Very limited selection of juices.
We ordered a Chicken sandwich, a beef submarine, a cream of chicken soup, a lime soda and sunshine( mix of orange and pineapple).
Beef submarine was horrible, beef was rubbery. Chicken sandwich was just OK, chicken soup tasted of excess milk, sunrise turned bitter very fast.
The city view was nothing to write home about.
The only items which tasted like it was supposed to were ketchup and garlic bread served with soup.
Based on my experience, I would say avoid this hotel. This is only suitable for couples who seek privacy and don't mind the food.

It's on 5th floor and you can feel whole hanthana from there. Rooftop Vibe is excellent, but the main issue is that they only accept cash only. So that i almost had to go out to take cash for my bill during rain. Luckily, finally, they agreed on a bank transfer. But it is very inconvenient. I think a resaturant in 2023 must have card payment facilities rather than collecting money by cash.
If it was food, food was very tasty. But the portion is not enough. Also, I their service is slower. Finally again I wanna say vibe is excellent.
