It was really worth to try their cake. I ordered medium size Lemon Drizzle Cake and Black Forest Cake. Very rich and moist. My favorite bakery shop so far. Apple pie taste really good too! Service Delivery Meal type Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The pineapple tart is not tart but biskut shape, not same size, too soft, fillings too sour for me. My tub, 1 bite only, like smashed (the pic with red cover). My friend's tub, mostly like smashed even untouched. We have to use spoon to try eat. It's not bite size at all, is too big. Really need Quality Control. To me is not presentable, and messy. A great place to chill and read a book on a weekend morning. Ordered the chicken mushroom pie and don’t let its size fool you. Its filling is generous - with good chunks of mushroom and chicken. I like that they added bay leaf in the filling which balances out the creamy taste. Their green tea kombucha is also great. Comes reasonably priced too - RM12. Maybe a tad sweet for me as I requested no ice. Still, it met my expectations. But most importantly, it’s a comfortable place for work and reading. A place that I go to at least twice a week. Great coffee and great ambience. Well decorated (nothing too fancy), and you'll be accompanied by good music. . Plus point if you like to read. Books and magazines on display are yours for the taking! . The cakes? Yummylicious. The sandwiches? Rich taste. Good for quiet conversations? Yes. Good for doing work on your laptop? Most definitely. . Or you just want to zone out while enjoying your cup of coffee? 100%. . You must try the lemon drizzle. But what's a slice of cake without coffee or tea? Incomplete. . Worth it! The pies are yummy and the tarts especially lemon meringue is good. Limited menu and would have liked to have a salad at least with the pie. But would come again. Kombucha was good too! Simple cosy ambience for a hot afternoon chill place. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 60–80

Dropped by for lunch. A pleasant little neighbourhood cafe, cosy meeting place for coffee and chit chat, with simple rustic decor. However, not an ideal place for meals as they do not have much food variety to serve you. It is essentially a coffee and cake place. The main savories they have are 3 types of pie - mushroom and chicken, beef, and curry mutton. Their pie crust was the brittly crumbly kind, different from the regular kind. Pulled meat inside - taste ok, but I prefer more hearthy pies. And would have preferred if the 'largish' bayleaf pieces were removed fm inside the pie to give a better dining experience. The pies were served plain with no garnishing or sides. Enjoyed the carrot cake - moist and the icing was not overly sweet. My sweetheart exploring this place for my birthday's breakfast. Fall in love immediately, they served good Coffee Latte ☕, I strongly suggest to try out, their Mutton pie 🥧 is sooo yummy too!! Thanks again for shop owner treat me their lovely Lemon Drizzle cake + a long black which is my all time favourite, much appreciated! Very nice and cosy (presumably) family run cafe. The food is really good, and the people who work there are very nice. Portion size a little small for the price. The smoked salmon tartine in the image is RM23, but tastes really good. They have cakes and cookies too, so that's nice.

The Crusty Nest just moved into the USJ 11 neighbourhood from SS15 Subang. I dropped in for the Jackie - The meat pie. I prefer this as the top pastry layer is replaced with mashed potatoes. Pastry, I'm not too fond of; potatoes, i cant get enough of!!! The pie was served with a home made tomato sauce, on the mash potatoes, which wasnt necessary as it made it too sweet. Additionally the granola, served on the side is just wrong. I understand creativity and all that but it was not needed. Other that that it was nice. I just would have preferred it a tad spicier or with some pepper. I followed this up with a Pavlova which was quite decent. It too came with a fruit coulis which if i remember was orange....or mango? But it didn't do anything to it. Service was fast and good. Fast wifi too. Bill came to rm35.00. Would return for the other items soon. 22 August - we returned for the pulled beef stew and mash, another Jackie and burnt cheese cake. The beef stew was good although there was a tad too much fat. My friend said the Jackie was good. I quite liked the cheese cake and the butterscotch cookies the wait staff offered me was excellent. The bill came to rm50.00. Service was excellent.
