Overall burgers were 7/10 & toasties 9/10, excellent milkshakes especially the coffee one, very good American IPA, friendly staff -nice place to try out. We had bacon & cheese burgers, pineapple & cheese burgers & the cowboy burgers. Reccomended advice, perhaps melt the cheese, try nice to burn the patties too much and have fresher rolls instead of toasting them. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Love the decor, atmosphere, service and food. Note that the "Pan's" are big enough for 3 people😁. We always stroll through the little shops and have bought numerous bottles of wine and all kinds of beautiful handmade items. If you want to see the "Moerse Tuin"... do that first. What a wonderful gem of a restaurant! I enjoyed every moment of my visit there on 7 Dec 2023. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Burger Bar. Probably the best hamburger I’ve ever eaten. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a great dinner.. Loved the vegan burger and milkshake options.. This place is a must visit if you are in town.. And the staff are just as amazing, creating a very friendly and cozy atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The waiter had such a great attitude, we arrived a few minutes before closing time and he rushed to place our order. He was super attentive and friendly. Even showed us that there were board games to play. The drink selection was a little bleak. But the food was delicious and not expensive. Good value for money. Wow, what a fresh experience! We used to know this little restaurant to be The Anchor, saw it had a name change and facelift and was pleasantly surprised. The two young gentleman who was over eager to welcome us in, seat and serve us were well-versed on a variety of topics and were able to provide suggestions to tailor make our dining experience! Well done chaps and of course the food was extraordinary, onions rings whipped up in a flash to compliment their generously sized burgers! Being vegetarian, I tried the cheese vegan burger with all the trimmings and we ate ourselves into a stupor 👍🏻😉 The only suggestion I might put forward is that maybe not everyone will like the BBQ basting sauce on a vegan burger, but wow, we totally enjoyed our meals and the conversation at the Burger bar! Well worth a visit 10/10 you guys 👌🏻🤗 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Well, the story is, that we stopped there for a glass of wine and ordered some chips and coleslaw as a snack, the quality of the food was so lekka that I decided not to go home and cook...lol...I ordered the most delicious Bunless vegan burger, with a big mushroom 😋 yummy, hubby enjoyed his plain burger 🍔 which was magic, the chips are to die for, no good for people on a diet....our waiter Dimpho, what a sweet child, gets excited and so willing to please us, great service, good food, we will become regulars. Best Burgers in the Overberg if you ask me! Never been to them before this one time and man ..it was a pleasant experience The staff was friendly and helpful The food was beyond my expectations.
