À propos
See Front Street by default, the clients' piece of advice is to visit this bar as well. The menu of Italian cuisine is to the pleasure of all clients here. It's time to degustate delicious martinis or good beer. There is a beautiful view from Beacon Lounge. The positive aspect of this place is that the staff is patient. If you want to experience enjoyable service, you should go to this spot. Many guests say that the dishes are offered for low prices. As a lot of reviewers notice, the decor is homey. The this bar atmosphere can seem quiet to some visitors. But as for the Google rating, Beacon Lounge achieved 4.3.

The view is what makes this place. Small bar with a few tables and about 6 or 8 bar stools, a bit older feel, but fantastic view over Traverse City. It's not what it once was prepandemic. Hopefully, they can bring back that same vibe and elevation. They do offer small plates in the summer season. No gluten-free options but includes tapas like margarita pizza, white fish dip (they were out of today), firecracker shrimp, wings, fried potato nachos, a potato pizza (I hear that's pretty good), and a few more items. Evan, the bartender, was friendly and remembered our drink orders from the previous visit. It's definitely worth the visit for the view while having a few cocktails 🍸 and hoping they do a bit more with ambiance and vibe/energy of place to enhance the experience. Price per person $20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Cody was wonderful, served me up a delish Raspberry Martini with a side of great personality. Also saw him being extra, and taking pictures for his customers. I'm in customer service and can recognize going above and beyond. Kelley also stuck out (though she didn't serve me, I had Cody) because she apologized to the next customers about something beyond her control and tried to rectify it.
There is no better place to end the night during a winter trip in Traverse City than the rooftop Beacon Lounge. Even if you don’t drink, the views are usually breathtaking. We arrived at the Beacon Lounge, which is located at the top of the Park Place Hotel, just as the sun was setting. We were able to enjoy a gorgeous fading pastel winter sky as the sun set over the horizon, leaving the city to darkness, save for the twinkling lights. It was a wonderful place to say our farewells to our friends at the end of a weekend well spent.
Definitely needs updating, but the view is incredible Price per person $30–50 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
So we were sitting at the bar and listened to the bartender argue with the server about she was closing the bar promptly when the band ended at 10:00. This was while the bar was so busy they were turning people away due to capacity. At about 9:40 they suddenly had a “computer problem” so they couldn’t take new orders yet the computers were completely functional for closing out tabs. I don’t believe there was any real computer problem other than the bartender wanted to go home early. If i owned this bar I would be making changes as I saw hundreds of dollars in potential revenue turned away for no reason at all. I’ve visited this place many times over the years and they have always had a great atmosphere and fit people in even sitting on the windowsills. This gem was why I stayed at the Park Place, but I probably won’t bother in the future.

AMAZING location, but the liquor and beer selections were less than exquisite. Waited 35 minutes to get into the tiny place, but that's what you get with prime real estate. This is a unique experience, I just wished my Old Fashioned had been worth the wait. I'll definitely go back for the view!

You can't beat the beautiful view. Unfortunately it was overshadowed by how crowded and loud the venue was. We ordered food, it took 30+ minutes to arrive and when it arrived all of our dishes were cold. The room itself needs some serious updating. I felt like I was in my grandfather's living room.

What a little gem in TC. See the town from another perspective while you sip casually and listen to local pianists play your favorite hits. I guarantee you'll hear at least one Billy Joel and Elton John song. Also the crowd here transcends time and ethnicity, it's a great mix of people. Now be prepared, it's a small venue, so come early and be ready for conversation with new people. If you are in TC for a summer night or two, stop in for a pleasurable time
Came here with my daughter , sister and mom before I head out of town. Was the worst experience of my life. We ordered two pizzas , the Margarita they had no basil for as well as could not make them correct to save their lives . The waitress said they kept messing up and she was having them remake the so it took over a hour and still were not correct .the potato pizza .( When it was finally brought up ) wrong again ! The assistant manager could not be bothered with the issue. I advised him about my incorrect pizza that took forever ( the margarita) he said" YOU ATE IT DIDNT YOU ? " he took no ownership , did not apologize was just rude !!! In a town that is big on tourist I would think that you would have good people with in those types of position. How can someone lead your team if they posses no customer service or leadership skills ! Nice view but that was it .
