There are many places in town where I have tried boba drinks of various sorts, but none have been nearly as good as those at The Alley. Warm, soft boba in a delicious brown sugar mixture, topped by a variety of tea and hot or cold drink options. I have lost interest in getting boba anywhere else. You really should try it. There aren't many locations in the US, so it is a treat to have one here. As for service, as with anywhere that employs teenagers, you will see a lot of turnover...I have had a good experience every time I went. The atmosphere is clean and simple. I even like that they did a collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen (a Japanese anime show). Come here if you're a boba enthusiast or just trying for the first time. They have great drink options for those who are lactose intolerant, they've got soy milk and oat milk but no almond milk. They are very conscious of people with allergies, which is great! Plus all of their boba pearls are made from scratch, which trust me when I say, makes a huge difference in taste and texture! Cute little Boba place right in the midst of Southlands. We ordered the Ube Brown Sugar Deeiova Creme Brulee Milk, and that was ok. Would have been amazing without the chunks. We got home and strained out the chunks and put the liquid and boba back into the drink. After doing that, the flavor was really nice. We also ordered the Signature Brown Sugar Latte with brown sugar Boba, and when I say I will be back just for that drink, it is phenomenal for all my iced coffee lovers. If you are on the fence about boba, try the brown sugar ones. I never loved Boba so much after having this drink! I stopped by The Alley at Southlands for the first time to grab a drink and snack for me and my partner. I must say I was amazed by the environment and ambience of this milk tea shop. It is very contemporary and feels sophisticated when compared to other boba places. Drinks was great! I enjoyed the Ube Brown Sugar and these waffle snacks! I definitely will be back. Glad to see The Alley finally comes to Denver. Heard a lot of rave reviews and many foodies were crazed about it from Asia to the US. Yes, it is another boba milk tea shop, just like countless ones sprouting up everywhere in town. Some people said their drinks tasted the best, some people said actually it was difficult to differentiate many milk tea shops from each other. Without being overly judgmental and scrutinizing on the minute details, it seems like they were not stingy in portioning their boba compared to some of their peers, the boba were chewy, with the aroma of brown sugar and not under or overcooked. They used organic milk from Horizon as most of their peers, so there was not much difference on the taste of the milk. The creme brulee in the drinks was creamy, but not overly sweet, had flan like texture and taste, and blended nicely with other ingredients. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10

I love BOBA and always looking for new boba places to try. I’ve got to say The Alley has the best boba I’ve ever tasted. It is soft and chewy, I think it is cooked perfect to taste! I tried some of their popular recommended drinks (Ube Brown sugar deerioca crème brûlée, the alley trio milk tea, snow strawberry lulu, peach oolong grape lulu) and my favorite is their Ube Brown Sugar drink and Peach Oolong. Left leaving super impressed! Located right at Southlands Mall. Place is crazy clean, and the overall atmosphere is very good. It's like Asian meets giant deer, whatever it is, it works. The presentation is great for the drinks. I got the creme brulee and it was one of the best milk tea type drinks I've ever had. They have an elite logo too, the deer...S-Tier. Will be back! This is a great drink & snack shop with yummy tasting boba. I ordered the matcha brown sugar deerioca milk and it was much sweeter than I anticipated (will ask to go lighter on the sugar next time). It was my first time trying boba, so I was pleasantly surprised, and completely clueless how to drink it (yes, I started peeling away the topper, didn’t know to stir/shake it, I spilled everywhere, and I used the wrong straw so the boba kept getting stuck). Oops! Took off a star because it was pretty pricy compared to other drink shops. Make sure to let them know if you are a first timer so they can lead you in the right direction (unlike what I did).

Edit: They start serving boba (tapioca balls) at noon! I didn't want this place to be so good because other places have a pretty nice rewards system, but alas... The brown sugar boba was so yum and & the perfect texture! Menu caters more to people looking for Milk tea vs fruit tea I recommend the match brown sugar drink!
