It was my girlfriend who introduced me to Thai food last year and this gem right in my hometown has now become one of our regular spots to dine at! From her recent trip to Bangkok, she made sure to bring home some ingredients and try recreating the dishes for me at home, like the Pad Kra Pao, and Red and Green Curry. I loved them all and she surprisingly got me hooked! And now we are - eating almost every week at Thai Foon. I especially enjoy the Chicken Satay or Cashew Chicken and Green Curry, as well as the Som Tam, and she loves the Pad Thai, Minced Pork with Basil, Spring Rolls and Thai Fried Chicken. And even when full as the servings are quite generous, we never ever leave without having the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert! So good (drools) This place is Highly Recommended and our friends and family visiting us would all agree! Food's always delicious and fresh and the staff are very helpful and greet you with friendly smiles ! This place won't disappoint and you will love the food for sure. My favorite Thai place in the island! Their pad thai is a MUST! I also really enjoyed their green curry. I've eaten here 3 times already and they did not disappoint. All their menu items are worth a try, they use just the right amount of spice for you to enjoy the food. The Pad thai, minced pork and tom yum should be on your list for ‘must try’ when you dine. Price and serving is good for sharing 1-2 persons. Location is very accessible. Loved that this place was closer to the local neighborhood than the center of Tourism Rd. Everything we had was great, but I especially loved the pad thai - noodles, nutty flavor, perfectly cooked egg, crunchy mung bean sprouts, large serving. Worth trying if you haven't yet. Worst Thai food I've ever had. The Thai milk tea was light in colour and tasted mostly on milk. The pad Thai was soggy, tasted like ketchup and had no flavour. Well the flavours are NOT Thai at all. We ate the papaya salad and the Pad Thai. The salad was just "something" with a lot of onion, and the Pad Thai was noodles with shrimps wrapped in omelette and not a single Thai flavour. We asked for one more appetizer but was informed they don't have it anymore AFTER we got our main dishes and specifically asked for it. Overall, wouldn't go there again. We ordered the minced pork and basil, Chicken satay and papaya salad. Everything was delicious and fresh. The banana coconut shake and the Brownie with coconut ice cream for dessert were amazing!
