Nice and unique place, good location. The food drags this place down. It does not match the price. Coming into this kind of place, just by the looks of it, you’d hope the food tasted a bit better. However it was an experience coming here. Once is enough, I would not come back here again. Coming to the service; it was a bit disappointing. Does not come to ask how the food was. Explains though the principal behind the place (almost like a tapas place/ sharing plates). Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 400–500

Good food but really pricey considering what service they offer. Looks fancy inside but a white tablecloth could be better. It was hard to order but the foods came quickly. They do not serve wine with a ishink(ice bowl). Overall good place for celebrating something, but not a place I recommend to anyone Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Confusing entrance with almost overly understated expression making us think we were at the wrong place first. But once inside things change. A lot. We loved the ambience and decor. It's absolutely huge but was still very cosy at our table for 9. The sharing menu is a nice way of having a meal and it was pretty nice but in hindsight we probably should've swapped a couple of dishes. A couple of the others were really good though. Attentive and nice service staff, but this place uses a time slot system and I don't really appreciate that. We spent our New Year's Eve at TAVOLO, our high expectation turned out to be very disappointed. The quality of the course menu was not as good as regular dishes, the risotto was way too oily and salty, the two small pieces of rib eyes were not even warm. We understood that it was a busy night, but the waitress was not friendly. Probably the price goes for the little firework show. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Do not be put off by the less than impressive entrance, it is only camouflage to hide the gem of restaurant Tavolo is. A bit like a speakeasy. Decor is fabulous. Staff is expertly managed and well trained. Food is very good. The ambient noise can put off a few guests. But worth the detour. Wow. Just wow. The service was mind blowing. The food better super delicious and the location speeds for itself. Well. It’s not a quiet place. A little loud - but no problem for us. First visit to Tavolo I’m pretty sure at some point I will be back. The food was ok but I feel like we needed more guidance on what to choose. Everything felt really spicy which didn’t really seem Italian/new Yorker to me.
