It's a little hard to find the restaurant. If you're a tourist just notice the Caesar hotel and go down to the underground floor.
The menu sheet has some english but when you order in an app it's all taiwanese.
Noodles are so good and delicious . It feels like you eat pizza but in noodle ways. Be careful of Big serve.

Tomato Soup
i ordered the chicken bone soup ramen, and the broth was really light but full of umami flavor, and doesn't get oily or greasy unlike some ramen soup bases. the chicken was also really tender and adequate in portion. the tofu noodle is undoubtedly the best part, and was my main motivation to return to this establishment after trying it once a few months ago!! my partner (a real japanese curry lover) tried the tomato curry ramen and stated it was really tasty and flavorful as well!

太陽のチーズラーメン
The service crew here are so friendly and helpful, we came with 2 daughters (4 yo & 8 mo). The food here are surprisingly good at an acceptable price. We ordered the Tomato Cheese Ramen and a fried chicken omelet tomato curry rice, the cheese ramen is superb if you like cheese and I would say the fried chicken is crispy but not too much of flour.

Outstanding service by Jun Hieng at Taiyo Tomato. He was very friendly and kindly explained the menu and recommended the best options in English (eg when upgrading the noodles to a set meal, to perhaps avoid the drinks as free tea was provided already and wouldn’t provide the best value proposition) to a clueless Australian who speaks no Mandarin or Japanese! He went above and beyond to offer an extra piece of karaage chicken when he determined that it was too small a serve. He also was happy to offer extra noodles as part of a promotion that I would have never been able to figure out myself. I hope he gets a promotion! The noodles themselves were also delicious - it was a moreish garlicky tomato soup base perfect for winter. The serving was huge, and came to around $300. Very happy to recommend trying this place out - note it is in the basement with a lift down from a fancy looking hotel lobby. The best customer service I’ve had in Taipei so far!

Food was served fast and taste great! The chicken cutlet curry serving a bit small tho, compare to other Japanese restaurants. Restaurant a bit tight and not baby friendly.

What I like about Taiyo Tomato 太陽蕃茄拉麵 站前本店 is their broth. If you enjoy a delicious tomato bisque, you'll enjoy eating at Taiyo Tomato in Taipei.
Secondly, they have tofu noodles that are actually really good!

Best of all, they are very considerate! if you have long hair, they have hair ties at the table. If you don't want to get your clothes dirty, they'll provide a paper bib.
Lovely staff, takes hygiene seriously and sprays every customer with anti-bacterial gel before entering. Delicious tomato dishes, my first time trying vegetable tomato ramen and I loved it. Good veggie options!
