Very nicely prepared food and friendly service. So many exciting things to try if you’re a food adventure, such as stir fried bees, fermented pork, wild snails, squirrel, etc.. But if that’s not your thing, there are plenty of easy dishes on the menu as well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There is a variety of choices, including indigenous atayal cuisine. We ordered deep fried river fish and shrimps (they are tiny but pretty good), preserves boar meat (I am not a fan of its sour taste), trout (not fresh and over cooked), wild vegetable (good), indigenous sticky rice in bamboo and leaves (good!), and free range chicken (good). Staff is kind and the place is clean.

My wife and I chose to have our lunch here immediately upon arriving in Wulai on April 19, 2019. Indigenous food, drink and services were all very good. The chicken dish at NTD300 stood out!

The exotic vegetables are good, other meat dishes are so so. The chicken soup is tasteless.

I read plenty of blogs and articles before I visited wulai. Most of the bloggers recommended this restaurant, so we decided to give it a shot. Not so surprisingly, the food taste good, and the waiting staffs are all friendly and hospitable. We tried the stir fried wild boar, bamboo tube rice and some vegetable that i have never seen else where. Really special experience.

An essential stop during your visit to Wulai. This restaurant has traditional Atayal food that will be unique compared to anything else you'll find in Taiwan. I've eaten here multiple times and I have never been disappointed. Everything on the menu I've had so far is great and I highly recommend the bamboo rice and honey drink. The restaurant also features many interesting images showcasing Atayal culture. There is a bus that takes you very close to the restaurant from Taipei, it could make a great day trip out of the city. Sehr lecker!

Lots of mountain vegetables to try that are hard to get other place. Purple yams, beetle nut flowers, and ferns. Nice atmosphere. Usually eat here when I'm in Wulai.

Pretty disappointed in this place, the Auntie was rude, they were out of a lot of things. The only food that was really good was the water spinach (空心菜) and everything else was unremarkable. Can't recommend it really.
