Very good restaurant in a cute town/square. It looks like there’s 2 separate restaurants but they are one and the same. We had fried calamari, pot of mussels, and vegan porcini and truffle ravioli, with some white and rose local wine. Calamari was great… my favourite was the pot of mussels… amazing sauce, dipped the good local bread in it, couldn’t get enough! The Raviolis were also fresh and very tasty… however I would not put the caramelized onions on top, they make the sauce too sweet and oily. They would be amazing just plain topped with some pine nuts, herbs, and white wine sauce. Attentive staff, good service. I recommend this place!!! Our visit to Ta’ Vestru restaurant was a delight. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming. We got and were fully satisfied; tender, succulent, and generously coated with a flavorful barbecue sauce. The portion size was satisfying, and the accompanying sides complemented the dish perfectly. The staff was attentive, enhancing our overall dining experience. Ta’ Vestru is a must-visit for anyone Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €35–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best food we have had in malta so far. The squid and the mussels were absolutely delicious as starters, we ordered more bread just for the sauce. Sea bass as a main was also a ten out of ten. We drank local Maltese wine which was super reasonably priced and tasty. Great service a cute terrace with a beautiful view of the church. Very nice family run restaurant with great service, delicious food and very pleasant atmosphere! We tried fried calamari with super tasty tartar sauce, sweet potatoes fries and Ta’Vestru special pizza. All of the dishes were delicious. My partner and I ate at Ta' Vestru recently on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is lovely inside, very clean and with a beautiful bar. We both had the vegan Ravioli Tartufato which was exquisite. The portion size was generous, too. We were served by a young girl who (presumably) was part of the family who own the restaurant. She was very professional, well-trained, and hard-working. Our only advice would be to ensure all staff serving customers know the ingredients (especially allergens) contained in the food, as we were initially not told that the sundried tomato spread that came with the bread basket (delicious bread!) contained cream cheese, even though we had already asked if the bread was dairy free and ordered vegans mains. Other than that, everything was perfect. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Such a lovely family-run restaurant with a cozy vibe. We were served by someone who we assume is the daughter of the owners, the service was very attentive and friendly. Food and wine were delicious. If you’re in the area highly recommend eating here.

Visited Ta’Vestru for dinner. Service was nice and the staff were friendly. When it comes to food, then it was a big disappointment. We ordered the soup of the day, the Gozitan platter and the seabass fillet. The zucchini with parmigiano soup was watery with no taste of zucchini and with the youngest parmigiano I ever experienced. In the Gozitan platter, the artichokes tasted like expired with a clear taste of steel. The portions in the Gozitan platter was relatively small compared to the price given (16 euro), you get same quality with better quantities in similar level restaurants and definitely for a competitive price. The bread basket brought along the platter contained exactly 2 small bread slices. The sea bass was obviously over cooked, and the side roasted vegetables were tasteless. Unfortunately I don’t recommend this place.
Great food and service. We had our food served promptly, even though it was busy evening. Food was delicious, I can't properly describe my starter but the flavor combination was amazing. Sweet and nutty with figs over the bed of salad and some fruit. We also had ravioli which was good and I had best tasting lobster in my life, and I have had my fair share of lobster. We had also grilled tuna steak that was delicious and served very nicely. The only thing that was destroying the vibe was the telly showing some football (we were sitting inside as the street is pretty busy outside) but as it is a small local restaurant I can understand some people just come there to have a drink and talk. All in all, I highly recommend it and we will be back there before we leave Gozo. This place is a dining gem, trust me.
Amazing food quality and very nice atmosphere. Lampuka fish was very tasty and the salmon filled pasta was just delicious! We had live music from another bar in the square, we really enjoyed the experience. Very much recommended!
