Our regular go to place to eat when we come to town happened to be closed. We were Craving steak at noon so we were lead here by great reviews. It did not disappoint. Love the atmosphere, the monkey light fixtures going up the stairs were my favorite. So tastefully decorated. The service was impeccable, only wish I got the name of the 2 lady servers, the were the real deal,, hard workers. The food was THE BEST we have had in awhile. We got our steak at noon. Yay!! Expertly prepared in a delicious serving sauce. Our appetizer was the Calamari, left us wanting more. The fries are definitely worth having, even the salad is worth mentioning. Sirloin salad. Anna was our server. Super attentive to my food allergies (seafood, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, dairy, coconut). Narrowed it down to this salad. She knew what the food on the menu normally have in allergens, which made things simple for me. The sirloin was tender, soft, and juicy. The salad was brought out with oil and vinegar and the combo really hit the spot with the salad medley. The lemon caper shrimp with fettuccine was amazing . The sauce was definitely on the rich and creamy side. The meal was served with a plate of complimentary sourdough bread with a few squares of frozen butter packets that didn't defrost until after we finished our dinner. The house made stew had celery which was kind of a turn off, my wife ended up having that instead. The kiddos really liked their dinner of cheesy Mac & cheese and burger with fries. Strawberry lemonade is definitely made from scratch and was some of the best I've had at a sit down restaurant. Overall the decor , the staff and the food made for a fantastic time and I would recommend it to any travelers. Absolutely fantastic service, food, and drinks. I didn't get the servers or bartender names, but they were awesome. We went tonight during happy hour. We will be back again on a Thursday for the same server. We started with the crab artichoke dip, oh so good, lots of crab. Then, split the special, fish, prawns, and fries. And ended with a fantastic dessert. I also had a couple of very special cocktails. For all the food the price was great. Thank you for a wonderful senior night out. This was maybe one of the better meals we’ve had at a restaurant. Highly recommend if you’re ever in Astoria. We both had the nightly specials and if those are this good I can’t wait to come back and try the full menu. I got baby back ribs that fell straight off the bone that had a bourbon bbq sauce that was so flavorful. My partner had a fresh halibut pasta that she said was incredible. We were starved and found it by chance 7 yrs ago and every single time we drive in from portland it's the ONLY place we go to eat!! Service food atmosphere truly five star everything! Had called before hand because Astoria Brewing company told us they did not order to go; so tried multiple restaurants aroundThe owner was surprised and said, "come on over!" Was greeted by Paul himself; very friendly! Loved the decor and atmosphere! Food sounds amazing and dessert looks so yummy! Can't wait to try the food! Definitely will come back when I visit! I have a dairy allergy and it’s very hard to find food that’s Tasty, Interesting and meets my needs. Our server quickly identified a delicious vegan option with prawns, pasta, marinara, mushrooms, capers and calamari olives! It was truly delicious as was the side salad. Timely, thoughtful, courteous service and a friendly atmosphere. The noise level was just right too! My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant. Amazing place. Came here on a weekday evening. The ambience and decor was very nice, the service was fantastic and friendly, the food was amazing both appetizer and seafood main course. We started a monthly tradition with some close friends of going out once a month. TPauls was on the list made reservations for 6 PM and we totally understood that it was a busy night, Local high school dance night, but we were not in a hurry. Our conversation was great while We waited, they were very accommodating. Once our table opened up, the food was amazing. We did try the crab artichoke dip for the first time it was excellent and my husband who usually does not do dips loved it! Us girls had a few cocktails, got to listen to the young gentleman playing the guitar with the lovely voice. It was a most excellent evening. Thank you.
