This might be the only Omakase Course in Thailand that satisfy my soul. Omakase in Bangkok gradually became just a luxurious showcase of ingredients in which not the core of Omakase in the sense of Japanese people. Here at Sushi Yanagi, I have such a great moment with various fermentation/marinated techniques that Chef use for fulfilling the perfection of the dishes. The 14+ dishes (since there is some service dish for us as intro to the course design) was served in a good pace and an hour long course ended without notice. Even though the head chef is raised and refined himself in US, he use really authentic techniques from Jiro-Sushi as a based techniques for his restaurant. Sublime dining experience at arguably one of the best Omakase restaurants in northern Thailand. Chef creates varied menu each sitting that includes only the freshest ingredients sourced locally and imported from Japan. This place is a must visit if you are passing through Chiang Rai (and you have budget to burn). Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ฿1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We stumbled across this restaurant and was able to join for the dinning in front of the chef. It was an amazing experience, the food was delicious, atmosphere. Staff spoke English and could translate the chef’s explanations and were extremely attentif to us. We absolutely love it and recommend 100%! I would call before hand to reserve :) Thank you !!! One of the best experiences we had. The quality of the food and the combinations were great. Service was excellent and Chef Be is a great human being dedicated to his job and on his continuos learning path. We also took a great bottle of sake :) And the shrimps we ate, were the best I ever tried in my life :D Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ฿1,000+

Progressive and thoughtful omakase experience. Chef used to work in US for 10 yrs before establishing his own place in Chiang Rai. Surely will be even more popular in 2023. Call first to avoid disappointment.
First omakase chef in Chiangrai with 10 years experienced sushi chef, every piece will give you traditional Japanese style but more Thai taste. Decorations very simple but beautiful as Japanese style. Reasonable price and no walk in. Please contact to check for your seat. For my first time here. Very impressive.
Great japanese expérience in Chiang Rai. The best in town no doubt about it. Everything is great for the price you have to paid at the end. Hidden entrance and large room. The chef Bee doing great Omakase and it's easy to have a little chat with him. He was working in USA before so perfect accent he can explain everything which is great. Highly recomended this place if you looking for something différents without totaly breaking the budget. Service is attentive.

I've eaten Omakase in America so I can say with a little experience Chef Bee does one of the best, he is also a blast to hang out with. I GUARANTEE you will LOVE his creations. Yanagi is not at all like the other sh!t sushi joints in CR I can say that this will be my go to spot from now on. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ฿1,000+
