Sushi House Metrocity, located right behind Petronas. One of very few Japanese food options in Matang area. Can come here if you are craving for Japanese food and nearby the area. Pros - Beautiful interior design - Clean - Reasonably priced food Cons - Management could consider changing / improve the ventilation system (Whole area reek of oil smell - Likely due to no proper separation between Kitchen & Dining area Overall it's okay with nice interior design. My new favourite Sushi restaurant in town, price and taste better than most including international chains.. nothing disappointing the foods, atmosphere they even has a sit in table for family and small cubicles like privacy setup! The air-conditioning somehow blown me away too cold but i drank my cold green tea anyway coz it just taste the best! Food quality is good. Nice taste compare to a lot of sushi restaurants in Kuching, especially the Hana, there’s a kind of deepness in it! Food portion is big and our son like their katsu. my first time eating here was nice, the sushi have a decent price, the place is comfy, the service is good. The sushi is also nice and suitable for my taste, my fav is the unagi don. The place has so much flies andthe salmon is overcook. The rice is hard and we have to wait 50 minutes for the food.We spend RM 100 and we know its not worth it. Food was great, ordered the set meal. The chicken katsu set was crispy outside and juicy inside, but the sauce that it accompanied with just simply Wostershire Sauce so no much flavor and taste greasy. The fried vegetables makes it even more greasier. My friend had somekind of Blackpepper chicken - good but a little overpowering on seasoning. Both of us had Cold Green Tea - it was good. The restaurant is quite chilly though, the air-conditioning seems to be cranked up to maximum and the kitchen smoke seems to engulf the dining area (went home smelling like fried chicken/charcoal). Wasn't too comfortable. It was my first dining experience here, and the staff(s) didn't even came and tell us that the order sheet are on the table, simply came and hand us the menu (I was thinking whether we need to scan any QR code past this point). Once I had to press call button 2 times but there wasn't anyone coming though the restaurant isn't much customers at that time. Overall, it was average dining experience. Food costs us total of RM50+ (2 set meals pricing around RM21 each and 2 drinks with total of RM6, with addition of Service charge and tax).
