During my recent visit to the beachfront café, I couldn't help but have mixed feelings about the overall experience. Nestled right by the picturesque shoreline, this café had the potential to be the perfect spot for a day of relaxation. However, a couple of issues left me somewhat dissatisfied.
One of the first things that struck me as rather unpleasant was the additional charge for beach chairs and umbrellas. While I understand that amenities like these come at a cost, it was disheartening to discover that the rate was €12 instead of the expected €10. The slight increase in price didn't sit well with me, especially considering the already premium location of the café.
What added to my disappointment was a feeling that the higher charge might have been due to my limited proficiency in the Serbian language. It's disheartening when language barriers result in uneven pricing for customers. Everyone should be treated fairly, regardless of the language they speak or their nationality.
Furthermore, it is customary as per Montenegrin tax law to provide a receipt for all transactions. However, no such receipt was provided during this transaction. It is my hope that the tax authorities in this country will further investigate this issue, as it is in their best interest to gather revenue to support their infrastructure.
However, I want to note that the café did have its positive aspects. The beachfront location was absolutely stunning, offering a serene setting that made it easy to forget about the initial pricing hiccup. The staff, though their pricing seemed discriminatory, were generally polite and accommodating.
In conclusion, my experience at the beachfront café left me with mixed emotions. The beauty of the location was undeniable, but the issue with pricing, possibly influenced by language differences, was concerning. It's crucial for businesses to treat all customers equitably, irrespective of their language or background, and to comply with local tax laws. I hope the café can address these concerns to provide a more inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone.
