I go there (this location) often because the people who work there (a hands-on owner and a very nice woman who basically runs the place) are incredibly nice. They want the customers to be happy and they find a way to do it. Subway is a franchise and I think most or all are independently owned and operated. It’s a tough business. You have to order corporate food items and follow corporate directions. So in that sense there isn’t much control. But at this location at Grand River / Drake they run the business very professionally and they’re as nice as can be. If you’re gonna get Subway, or just need something quick, and you’re anywhere nearby,, they don’t ever make mistakes and THEY ARE SUPER.FRIENDLY! Enjoy. Worst subway I’ve ever came to!!! Never again, I’ll rather drive an extra mile and go to the other one, lady wouldn’t accept my coupon and was so stingy with my sub I wish you guys could see it, she put 2 of every vegetable!!! I’ve never witnessed this cheapness ever in my life

If you are a pure vegetarian, just stay away from this place. They don't change gloves while handling non-meat items. If they are doing like this in front of customers, just imagine what they could be doing behind the scenes. Previous owners were really good, always nice and neat. Now when I see people there, they just don't have any idea on how to handle customers. The lady who acts like she is in charge is very rude. These people don't know what customer service is. Horrible experience !! staff was rude and pushy while ordering our food which was odd there were no other guest in the store. The meat on the meatball sandwich tasted rotten (the meat ball sub is a family favorite orders it often from other subways). Our order was incorrect on one specific asking for no lettuce and tomato which was on the sub. The sub I ordered tasted horrible not getting what I asked for. I ordered it with the chicken strips and was given shredded chicken that tasted like tuna. When I returned to say none of the subs were any good. We didn’t eat any of them. The lady working shrugged shoulders and said you got what you ordered.I tried to explain I didn’t and she simple wouldn’t even listen and was rude even when I said the meat ball sub had spoiled meet on it she again shrugged shoulders not helpful or providing any good customer service. 37.00 meal no thank you ! I was just at this location to pick up lunch a few minutes ago and the middle aged gentleman working had an amazing attitude and great customer service. I haven’t been having the best week and I asked him for a litttttttle amount of lettuce on my sub, he put one little piece on as a joke and it brought a smile to my face, I needed the laugh! We then just finished small convo as he made my sub, will most definitely want to visit this location more often because of him! 😀 Oh my sub was also delicious and fresh, him and I both agreed the tomatoes were nice and “meaty” today! 🍅
