My son stopped here on the way to visit mevin Middletown. When I opened my grinder, it looked pjay BUT I have to say it was the WORST grinder I have ever got from Subway. I asjed for a #8 with everything except hot peppers. There was hardly anything on it. Couldn't even see the lettuce. I asked for oil and vinegar as a dressing and there was none on it. At least I did get wheat bread liked I asked for. Well yes, of course I ate it because I was starving. I WILL NEVER GO TO THE KILLINGWORTH SUBWAY AGAIN!!!. I do not know if the server was new or not but if so, Definetly was not trained properly... I suggest that this person gets more training or replaced because he/she can not make a grinder. I don't understand it either because how hard is it to make a sandwich??? Was there around 5 or 6pm on Saturday, Dec 30, 2023. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

This is my favorite subway. The owners always greet you with a smile and genuine questions about your day, the ingredients are always fresh and clean, and the bread is always freshly baked. The restaurant is clean and spaced out for safe dining and ordering. I’ve always enjoyed going to this subway and would recommend it over Durham or Clinton, better quality, fresher veggies, and friendlier staff.

This is my first time at this Killingsworth location and the customer service was horrible. They were both rude but the sandwich was good. At least they didn't toast my bread but they snapped at my co-worker and I, then the Indian guy went off at her that her order would take up his time but there was no line. I never had this kind of trouble at Whitney Ave where I usually go.

Love this place, it's under new management and everyone is so nice, helpful and they treat with respect. Everything looks super clean! They are always cleaning and I've never seen anyone make beautifully made sandwich. Highly recommend it .

I have gone to this subway for years and have never had a problem the people were always friendly. However today I had a horrific time, I brought my service dog with me into the restaurant while I ordered my food. In the state of Connecticut Service dogs are protected under the law and allowed to enter anywhere their handler goes. They repeatedly told me dogs were not allowed near their food (keep in mind my dog was seated at my side 3-4ft away from the glass. Both the man and the woman continued to harass me in front of other customers after I tried to explain a few different times that she is my service dog. That I need her for specific reasons and they are not able to tell me to not bring her in. The kept just repeating “next time, no dog allowed.” It got to the point where they were not stopping, so I left the store in tears. Completely disgusted by their behavior, I simply just needed to get my lunch and leave, but they did not quit. I sincerely hope no one ever has to go through what I did today with the Killingworth subway. Shame on you both.

Honestly, the worst service I’ve ever had at a subway. So my co worker and I decided to stop here and get a bite to eat. The I believe owner made my friends sub first, he put 4 scoops of chicken on his sub to start and I immediately felt like this is gonna be great, my friend(white) goes to the bathroom.....I obviously got the same thing but to my disbelief, boy took the first scoop and took half out and proceeded to try to spread the chicken more than halfway through the sub.....and then put a less than full scoop on the other side. Off top he disrespected my stomach. He put cheese on it and threw it in the toaster so when it came out all the cheese melted on top of each other and on the bread not even the chicken.....I don’t even want to continue but I thought my first interaction with someone racist, the racist would be white but boy I was wrong.... never again, he lucky I was at work . Negative 5 stars.

Gets one star only because the guy finished the sub. He was rude & obnoxious (no one was there at 5:15 pm). Had to ask for every bit of veg in a veggies sub. He acted as if I was asking for mushrooms & camembert. The sub was terrible - I didn't get the bread I wanted, just the plain. He was putting 2 slices on a 6" sub, 2 slices of cheese (which are cut in a diagonal) & was totally rude about it. Told us to go to the Clinton Subway next time (because I wanted to tell him what to add as he made it - like everywhere else). Forget this place; horrible service and a lousy sub. The Clinton Subway is accommodating & friendly; the people there are pleasant and make a great sub. Killingworth is the worst.

I don't even want to rate this with 1 star got the stake and cheese it was nasty. and now they serve it cold? and the bread was old and hard the cookis had a old and funky taste I will not be going back .
