Maybe the best local pub if you are in the town. I dunno, I only went to one, and suspect there may only be one. I was asked for my ID, and it was met with quite a bit of surprise when I handed the owner my passport. He informed me he had owned the bar 20 years and had never seen a passport. He was friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced but the entertainment was certainly lacking. I recommend this place to anybody that has no other options or has obviously worse options, but I realize that is a meaningless statement.

Was former;ly known as Hinkles Tap room in 60's. They never asked for ID in those days, just served beer and some wine along with bar food. The better place to eat was Bob's Cafe a block north on Hooven. Slim (owner) lived upstairs, set me up with a glass of beer for each strikeout I got while pitchinh HS baseball when I was 18 senior year 1968

Needs to relocate somewhere with a parking lot so people can park there not on the corners or streets and take up parking spaces to those who live there.
