The food was good (nothing special), but - the water was for free, you could have all the sauces you want, also for free. Service was very nice and pleasent. The TV had funny old tales played for one of the young guests. I had a great time there! Absolutely phenomenal fish and chips. Easily the best I had in my 2 years here in Europe. The crinkle-cut fries are a great compliment to the 2 big size pieces of fish you get in the meal. The tartar sauce is amazing with it not being too heavy but at the same time packing lots of flavor. Amazing customer serves from the waitress and incredible amount of free sauces to choose from the condiment table (including vinegar)! 20/10 MUST RECOMMEND if you visit this town. This is the place where I ate the best fish n chips in my life! Fries were not as good as the main dish but it didn't make the overall experience worth less than 5 stars. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered fish burger, and it was mayonees burger with a fish. Too much mayonees and lattes. I felt like through up after eating a bit. I couldnt eat it. Then i order en extra piece of fish was fine. the 1st time i tried was the 200g stuen burger. that is really good...then it went downhill the 2nd time i went when i ordered the lovbiff tallerken. that's kind of a scam. the portioning was really small and the patty was so dry that it kindda tasted like cardboard. A very snowy Sunday in Ålesund and Stuen AS was open and we sat and had a lovely hot drink served by a very friendly lady. Perfect if you want a takeaway food and drink. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered the fish and chips with remoulade. Fish was tasty and fries were okay. You can get free tap water if you ask. Staff was very nice.

I really don't get all the 5-star reviews. Service was terrible, I ordered in English and the cashier replied in Norwegian. When the food was ready he just slammed it on the counter mumbling something in Norwegian. Food was average. You have to pay extra for a spoonful of sauce, and I even found a hair in the chips.
