Wow, can't believe I am writing a review for a place I had been to 10 years ago. My first trip to the continent of Africa, this was the first restaurant I had been to. Mozambique is not a vegetarian eater's paradise but getting basic sandwich and fries is good enough. Also the views from this place are awesome. 4 stars for nostalgia, view and the emotions.

Great location and view. Food and any hot drinks (coffee) aren't quick in coming, but that's typical for Mozambique. Bathrooms need some major redoing, and menu needs to be reviewed.

Best grilled chicken I had so far. Fairly reasonable pricing, beer is ice cold, and very friendly service. Nice view of the Maxixe bay to boot

Possibly one of the best stop in Maxixe for a restful halt, a refreshing drink or a quick bite. Clean, an eyeful of a landscape and a friendly, smiling service. Plus one of the most imposing, 120 year old, Flamboyant tree you can ever hope to lie your eyes on. What do you want more?

Good service, good food, welcoming atmosphere and a view. The foods are large portions and the prices are fair. I enjoyed it.
