Nicely cooked scallops, fillet steaks and sausage pizza have a pleasant taste. Tasty flija, lemon pie and fruit ice cream can be what you need. The wine list is extensive, every visitor can find something that suits their taste. Great press coffee or delicious French coffee are worth trying here. Onion soup had too much salt 🧂 🤢. Had the fish Wellington and hated the sauce it was cooked in. Could not take another bite! We were charged for 3 sangria's b/c our server decided to take 1 of them back before it was finished. $150 for a little bit of rice and grilled veggies was NOT worth it!! First time visit and we will definitely return. Decent size, but definitely small seating capacity and so popular people come from miles around, so make a reservation! Owners purchased a couple of years ago after having a very successful local restaurant already. The chef has so many specials, after a quick run down, there was no reason to order off the menu. Everything was pared well and cooked to perfection. Service was very available and attentive, but not obnoxious. Markleeville is a very small town, don't blink, or you'll miss it, but very quaint. Patio seating out front during the warmer season. Can't wait to go back during the Spring and summer. FYI bring cash, my credit card with chip was not able to be read with their card reader.
