What could more enjoyable than packed Panini for me and aloaded BLT for my wife and hot coffee down at the pier/wharf, the girl brought the meal and coffee over to us. We came here a few years ago and the food is still fantastic. Such a nice place to chill. Recommend best Cafe in Taupo for crepes. Can't remember which one I had, but it was about $14/$16, had pear/apple and strawberry in it, with a caramel swirl on top, but yeah, that was quite nice. Felt it should have been more crispier ( it tasted a little runny/wet, and a little more sugar too. But aside from that, it was worth it. 7/10 Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Stir cafe is refreshingly fantastic. Great staff (friendly and work as a team). The famous cheese toasties didn’t disappoint - fresh, inventive and delicious! Stir cafe is located down the marina, so can get busy but a fantastic location to enjoy the best of Taupo Service Take out Meal type Lunch

Good wee caravan cafe - lovely position near boat Harbour. Great coffee and tastiest. A few tables - mainly takeaway. Brilliant. Food: 5 Service: 5

Ordered 2x breakfast crepes. My wife just started eating and pulled 2 strands of hair out of her food. I pulled a 3cm hair out of mine. We heard of Stir often.. but had brunch there today with family.. incredible sweet as well as savoury crepes plus toasted sandwiches.. fries..and superb coffees.. it has be our ‘go to’ place now.. many many thanks…

Ordered an iced coffee along with my partner; don’t do this from here unless your happy to wait 15+ minutes. It wasent even that busy and customers who ordered well after us were being given their drinks before us; the women behind the machine got snappy at my partner when we asked why it was taking so long. Not cool. That’s a paying customer you’re talking to 😕 Saving grace of this review is the kid behind the counter, who deserves a raise for his multitasking. The iced coffee itself was good too, once we finally got it.
