After you have seen Abbey of Echternach, visit this restaurant. Many people visit Steak-House to try nicely cooked succulent steaks, op la and paella. You will be offered good wine. It was our 34th anniversary and instead of a two star restaurant at home we decided on a weekend away. We booked a terrace table in Echternach Luxembourg for dinner but when we arrived, the head server told us due to the rain it would be better to sit inside so we agreed. She showed us to a corner at the back of the restaurant (which was empty). She was worried about our dog which we said we were bringing from the get go. We asked for the table near the front door with space for the dog and a breeze from the entry. The outside tables quickly filled up - seemed that regulars had no problem. The back tables inside never filled up as you can see from the photo. My husband ordered a bisques to start but our main course were brought first. The head server said she didn’t hear us… they brought the soup and then mains. Food was delicious just wish the service was too. Very much a local restaurant but then perhaps they shouldn’t accept tourists? Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50–60 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Food and ambiance is amazing. Constantly something new and tasty on the menu. Restaurant has been refurbished 2022, so ready for a fresh start while coming to a kind of end of Covid, we hope.

Frits is really a fabulous chef and owner of the restaurant. fantastic food, great wine a perfect service. We visited the restaurant a couple of times during hour holiday.

The terras is nice, food price is equal with the area. Quite disappointed with the quality of steak. I ordered a medium rare steak and got a well-done.
