This location is always busy or understaffed, yet the employees consistently strive to do their best. Makayla went the extra mile with one of my orders, and I genuinely appreciated her effort. I was there on Sunday morning around 12 and I saw how hard those workers were trying to make the drinks. If you expect to get your drink in less than five minutes, I wouldn't recommend going on the weekend. This Starbucks is in the mall, which is much busier compared to standalone Starbucks. You shouldn't bring their morale down because you decided to get a drink while it was busy, and it took a while. You probably saw other people waiting for their drinks when you got there. It should have indicated that it was going to take a while. If you didn't want to wait for your drink, you should have gotten a refund and went about your day. Just because you decided to get your drinks in a busy store during their busy hours, don't blame the workers for your mistake. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you get there an hour before close, don't expect seating. I got there at 7:00pm, sign says closes @ 8:30, staff said they close at 8, so not sure what time they really close. All the chairs were up on tables, as if they had already closed and were just serving their last customers. There were no spills on the floor, which looked decent except for a little paper trash. Not sure what that's all about, but I didn't feel welcomed to order.

amy’s customer service was amazing! but she bullies the baristas on the floor. she was constantly degrading them and not assisting them whatsoever, she wasn't even trying to be subtle... totally ruined my experience.. Service Dine in Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

We visited the Mall of America to do some training in the transit and security parking garage area. I took the short walk up to the second story Starbucks and ordered two large to go containers of coffee. The staff advised that the wait time would be about 20 minutes, which is no big deal. The super helpful staff went above and beyond, walking the coffee and a box of complimentary goodies to go with it. Top notch all the way around. Horrible place. My family (3 children) went in and saw a man clearly putting on a show. We were watching him and one of the little boys (or whatever he identifies as) at the register came running at us acting crazy saying that was not permitted. Lol. Wow. What. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Filthy floors and horrendous service. "Ben" told me I'd have to go to the end of the line (which was out the door) to get an ice water for my young kids after placing a mobile order. I was told I needed to order this on the app. We then asked another employee how to do this on the app because it's not an option and was advised she didn't know.
