My family has been ordering from here for over 40 years. The sandwiches are amazing. The best meats, and the best bread. Service is always wonderful. The new dills are so good.

Don’t pass on the Rubin to go! We had a celebration at the office and the tray we received was perfect for the event. The Deli food in Michigan sets our state apart from others. The quality of our deli food, and the care of each deli to bring top food options to us, makes Star Deli the best option for lunch, dinner, catering…. Thanks to the entire staff for being so caring and reliable to the community!

I brought 2 cornbeef sandwiches on Jan 5th. Both were very dry. I let the restaurant know. They have changed meats with alot of fat in it. The taste was very bland. The sandwiches were also pricey. I don't think I'll be going back to Star Deli any time soon. Your business is going to suffer real fast.... Signed looking for a new deli! That moment when your Hubby "mentions" how close a certain deli is to your workplace.... so you stop to grab his favorite sammy. We tried a local spot and he said, "NAH" So I brought him some love from Southfield. PLUS, rugelach!!! Delicious Jewish pastry, one of my faves and hard to find authentic in Lansing. We will be back! Hidden gem, authentic kosher deli

I’ve been going to star mini years now today I ordered with sandwich and the corn beef was cold and fatty and very tasteless. When they charge $17 for a sandwich you would expect more than 5 ounces of meat on the sandwich I was in the delicatessen business for 15 years so I do know the difference I will never be back again. Pulled up in my car to go in get somethingNever been here before first time, I’m guessing around 655 pm on 11/15/23. As I was walking up to the door I had to turn around real Quick grab my wallet out of the Car, Then as I proceeded into the restaurant the guy inside ran to the door locked it in my face and started turning the lights off, Found that very rude, I understand if they are closing but come on at least have enough respect to say sorry we are closed or something, I will never step foot into that place again, Goes to show you how much respect they have for their customers. Very Unprofessional Business. Service: 1

4 star for the price but nevertheless it is a good deli with family service. Seems to be a stable in Southfield it is right off telegraph Rd so it is pretty easy to go there. Better than Potbelly's across the street for sure.
